Congrats Rebels. Allen County played a great game. Much closer than everyone thought. I didn't hear them say the attendance but it looked like about 15,000. Great atmosphere for a High School Football Championship. I hope they keep it in Bowling Green.

Drove by the stadium tonight and it was very crowded, one side looked like there wasn't an empty seat nowhere.

Surprised by the score of this game. I thought Boyle would be able to move the ball much better than they did tonight. Nonetheless congrats to Boyle for winning another state title. And to ACS, you showed that you're worthy of playing in a state title game. You guys should be more than proud of what you did tonight. Great job by both teams...

What's Boyle winning streak at now?

It was just a great high school football game.

It sounded like it was. Wish they all could be like that. Long way to drive to watch blowouts. I enjoyed listening to this game. You guys have a safe trip home! Congrats...

Well I'll be. Held ACS under 100 yards rushing. Never thought they'd shut it down that far.
ACS looked like they hit on something late by going to their backup QB who is more of a traditional dropback passer, but the game was unfortunately too far gone by that point. Chris Cook was darn near unstoppable for Boyle County.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

Radio said it was about 13,500

Great game by two very good teams. The venue has the best view by far for watching the game. Now go get that consecutive win record. Got 47 in a row last time.

How was the weather with the open stadium?

The weather wasnt bad it was a whole lot warmer on the lower level in the second half.it got kinda nippy in the upper level late in the game.i hope this is the last year they have the games at western.

Other than the horrible pass interference call and the missed face mask what did they do? I thought they did fine and a few times they gave us favorable calls.

Western is wayyyyy better than Papa Johns Stadium. Wayyyyy better. It actually feels like a high school game and that they can actually hear us yelling. Add in the fact that the parking was better managed this year and I have absolutely no complaints about the game being in BG. I am biased though. I love my hometown. Lots of great memories there and the Rebels keep making memories there as well. What's not to love about BG?

We won so all of things I could think of saying I'll just keep to myself. The important thing is that we won and I couldn't be more proud of the Boyle County Rebel football team. We manned up after halftime and took care of business and got #7. That is all that matters.
Congrats to ACS on a fantastic season and good luck in the future.

The only reason the parking was better was because the second game ended early or on time.we were the only ones there to park.i dont like the 2 hour drive.the state games need to be more in the center of the state not almost in Tennesee.theres nothing wrong with Bowling green,i just dont like the location.

Oh. Okay. I honestly get confused trying to figure out what is and isn't holding and assume holding could likely be called on every play. I don't remember seeing any questionable late hits out of bounds but I am not saying they didn't happen. I just didn't see them and I am not claiming to have seen everything that happened on the field. I know I thought Hale fumbled the ball when they ruled him down and we also got a first down on a 3rd down play when we hiked the ball when the play clock said 0. I'll take it. They can't make every call, right?

I can buy that. It is a drive but I don't mind that so much. I wish the games were at Commonwealth Stadium. UK isn't using the field this time of year. Can't get more central than that. I'd go to all 6 games then.

And for the record.....the pass interference call they called on Devon Cox right before ACS scored on a 38 yard td pass was one of the worst pass interference calls I have ever seen. The ball was a good 7-10 feet above the receiver. Not even close to a catchable pass and when contact was made it was when the ball was at the players. The refs saw contact and threw the flag but if there was ever a flag that should have picked up it was that one.

Id like to know the same thing. It has already been said that this game had more spectators than the first 2 sessions combined. It was by far the best game of the day.
As I tried to explain to the Boyle County fans tonight on top, the pass interference call was correct. In high school football there is no "uncatchable ball." Pass interference is pass interference. I saw everyone throwing their hand over the head ( which would of been the correct call in both the NCAA and NFL) however, this was called correct.
The face mask however, I just dont see how it was missed. Everyone in the stadium saw the kids head almost turn completely around.

Oh. I didn't know that. All I knew is that the kid wouldn't have caught that pass wide open. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll rememeber that in the future. I am sure we'll see something like that again.
