Article in Lexington Hearld last week said he would be OK. Injury wasn't as bad as it was last year. No surgery required .May miss a few of the early games but will be playing this year.

He didn't travel with the team to Russell on Tuesday. Somebody I talked to said that they didn't think he was going to play. Even after he heals up all the way. But I think he will.

Prediction: Coach Booher and Holmes will move up the poll during the year and SV fans will say it is because of Robert and Greg Newsome lol

Everyone knows I'm as big a Holmes fan as they come, but even I can't agree with Holmes being #16.

I'm a bit more optimistic about their upcoming season than before, after seeing them go toe to toe with Scott Co, but at this point there's no way I'd have them in the top 25 over teams like Dixie, Boone, or Conner out of the 9th.

Hopefully these coaches have seen some things over the summer that I don't know about.
