Steve Johnson Blames God For Drop
#1
Why so serious, Steve?

God to Steve; "I gave you two perfectly good hands. Its up to you to use them".....
Steve Johnson is an idiot. Quit whining and blaming everybody because you cant catch a wide open touchdown pass. Your on a 2-9 team that isnt going anywhere, and after his actions last week, he needed to be humbled. If he would have been paying attention to the football instead of thinking about hotdogging in the endzone, he would have probably caught it. Quit whining, Steve. Your getting paid a ton of money to play in the National Football League. Maybe one day you'll see what its REALLY like to be humbled.

all i can say is he better watch what he says and repent for that or it could get worse for him..

Good luck to Stevie Johnson. If the good lord removes his protective hand, Mr. Johnson may have just played his last game in the NFL!

WOW! This is ridiculous!

All I got to say about this is... Without God, you don't have the opportunity to walk this earth. Let alone make millions doing something you love! So give respect, everything happens for a reason! Gods got a plan!

Good God people...it's one **** comment, he was probably kidding about it or he was aggravated right after a game.

He went to UK, we always ***** and whine because not many players from UK get alot of playing time. Now, we have one, and he's one of the best WR's in the league so far.

I know the guy, and know his personality, and he doesn't make excuses and definitely isn't serious about this. He's actually alot more religious than you'd think.

lol, this isn't thread worthy. Tideshoss, can't you find a good article about how your Tide choked the Auburn game away, after a 24-0 lead, at home? I'm sure that would be thread worthy.

Reading the bolded words above, it's safe to say that we don't know Steve Johnson. I haven't seen the video and he probably said some questionable things, but let's not judge him as a person because of a short video.

The exact quote from Twitter:

"I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO...

He's young and we all let our emotions get the best of us. Just something the media is blowing out of proportion. He's been having a great season and probably one that's pro-bowl worthy.

And then we get a player that does play and he says something stupid like this.....

I don't care if he's serious or not. He was better off not posting that for the world to see. It isn't the end of the world, but it was still a dumb move.

Also...
If Sportscenter can talk about it, if it's on the news, if you can't watch a basketball game without seeing that text scrolling at the bottom of your screen on the feed....
why isn't it threadworthy? lol

I agree I mean when you read the rest of the article he says he was "humbled" by the drop. Maybe it wasn't the correct forum (twitter) to do it on but have we not all at some point in a moment of frustration asked God why something could happen? Have we not questioned how he could let us be troubled when we give our lives to him? He's 24 years old his fault is not questioning God it is taking those concerns to twitter and not sending them up to Him in prayer. He will figure it, out at least in a frustrating/devestating moment his eyes went to his Maker and that is a good start.

Ah, I would take this with a grain of salt..
He was just very upset about missing the catch, even tho he shoulda caught it and even tho they would beat p-burg.

I'm sure God doesn't look at him as a menace to society, God forgives all.

He might not be as far off base with his comment as one might think on first glance 'Hoss. After all, GOD is a Steelers fan. LOL!!! But seriously. I love Stevie. I loved watching him play at UK and has turned into a heck of a pro player. Nody is more of a true blue Wildcat than he is. But GOD doesnt owe him or anyone of us anything! If GOD actually paid us what he "owed" us. Trust me, the least of any of our worries would be dropping a pass in a football game.
