From that video this kid looks like a real good back. Not just fast but it looked like he could find holes hit them hard or wait for one to open. And in the open field it didn't look like anyone could catch him. Good luck to both teams but I hope central pulls this one out.

I wouldn't say they run primarily from either, it depends on the situation but most often you will see a fullback lined up in front of ace.
However central put the ball in the air against Paducah very successfully.

Wales is a good RB, but something that may have not been mentioned yet is how good the Central QB is at carrying out his fakes on EVERY play.

Belfry must play assignment football and send 11 red jerseys to the ball carrier on every play.

Not talking about you! Not at all! I was referring to a couple of in-county haters (Like Crazy Taxi Driver who is a PC fan) and a few others..... I welcome the opinions of the opposing school's fans, just as I welcome these "repeat offenders"! That is what an adult discussion is based on, but some pick against Belfry just for the sake of picking against Belfry!

Nope different qb, Kris king was out due to injury & senior Diaz bolden was the qb.
This kid is a soph, central has 1 senior starter on offense & 2 on defense. 19 starters back next year, watch freshman linebacker Francis , son of the Francis that played on ky's 77 sec championship team.

U show me one post on here that I have picked against belfry and not had some kind of reason and I will quit this site altogether. U can call me a hater if you want to. Truth is you wouldn't be lying. I do not have anything against the players. And I like Haywood and at one time I was real close to some of the other staff. But even then I was not a belfry fan.

My views on belfry are a lot like the way some people feel about tenn. And Louisville. Just because they are from pike county doesn't mean I want them to win. I could care less if they ever win another football game.

But to say I'm a repeat offender or whatever, well u have no idea what u are talking about and if u get upset because someone wants the other team to win then it's your god given right to do so, but don't take it so personal

My views on belfry are a lot like the way some people feel about tenn. And Louisville. Just because they are from pike county doesn't mean I want them to win. I could care less if they ever win another football game.

Haha. It's not animosity that I feel. The truth is I am a PC fan. But that really has nothing to do with my reasons for disliking belfry sports. I mean PC has went toe to toe with belfry in all sports except for football.

My 2 best friends are belfry alums. And people I have grown up with are all belfry fans. So being from another school I automatically have to be against them.

Don't feel bad though I feel the same way about pikeville.

ok your right it was Bolden, wasnt 4sure what year he was, i was on Tilman side, and that what they thought he was, i was just there to watch football since Belfry went out early..:Thumbs:

dont know about the word Hate, maybe dislike,but if Belfry gets beat out and theres another county team or one close thats close, i always root them on, just like i grew up in Madisonville, i will root for Christian County in the finals, and for Belfry i lived there 8yrs and had a step son that played in middle school and played as freshman last year, but decided not to play this year,i am a Pirate fan more than any..

Um, CTD I wouldn't quite say ALL sports! Above is last seasons baseball record against PC.....
Just had to do that to ya son.... Although I like a LOT of people from PC and do actually have family that attends there, I personally can see your opinion yet wonder exactly why you feel this way. I would cheer on PC if it were them in the spot we are..... Those young men have earned this and those boys have worked hard all season long.... I mean HARD to get to where they are at. I hate you feel the way you do as one day you may have one of your own out there playing and I'm sure most of us would support him/her if they were in the same spot as ours are!

After watching the video on #2, and he is a good back. I believe belfry can beat this team. the game will be won or lost on the los. this pirate team is physical. led by a couple of headhunters on d and a strong hard hitting o-line. ive read where people say this teanm is not as good as the 07, but i disagree, they have had to work harder, played a lot tougher schedule, took their lumps and kept fighting. i believe this has built charactor they will need to bring home the title. if we dont get beat by special teams or turnovers we have a real shot! pirate o and d line time to get nasty! good luck big red

Reason or no reason, he asked for a person, you were the first one I came to that has picked against Belfry on more than one occasion. I am not taking it personally, just simply said for haters to keep hating and the Pirates to keep playing. There are kids who read this.... they deserve to know that people are for them as well as against them! Personally, as a PIKEVILLE graduate, I never cared for any county school when we were playing them, but always wished them well and was supportive when they were in a position to bring recognition and/or a championship back to Eastern Kentucky! A perfect example is Shelby Valley last year. I grew up detesting them, but rooted for them all the way in the All A and Sweet Sixteen. You have every right to your opinion, I have every right to mine; doesn't mean I understand the animosity or negativity! We're all good.... no anger here.... not even a little upset... LOL :igiveup:
