"Heading into this weekendâs games, Bell County coach Dudley Hilton has 344 career victories â one shy of the former Newport Central Catholic coachâs record. Bell County should beat Knox Central in Fridayâs Class 4A regional title game. (It already beat Knox Central once this year, 21-7.)
Schneider amassed his wins during 44 seasons at his alma mater. Hilton is in his 35th year as Bell Countyâs head coach."
If this has already been discussed, excuse me. If not, shame on the Bell fans for not bringing it up. It is a big deal.
Hopefully I can speak for others, but our Coach Hilton has (especially of late) has issued it so much that success is so much of a team effort that it has appeared to us that he doesn't want the light to be shined upon him during such a crucial time in the playoffs. He is so focused on the task at hand and has continually tried to keep his team together, I guess it's better told in his own words that he has continually told his players lately "It's not about you, it's not about me, but it's all about the team". In all of his years of success I guess he's learned a few things and I think one of them would be is success is better enjoyed after a State Championship, he has won three of them. If you would ask him which he would rather have he would probably choose another State Championship, but in his case if Bell can not be distracted and stay focused,:thanks: he can have both. Believe me he will be appreciated, you should be at Bell tomorrow, I believe it will be a very "Big Deal".

That is why they are predicting 10,000 people to be at the game. I think you are out numbered on this one 9,999 to 1. It will be a great game! Bell will have its hands full tonight! Anyone who thinks different is over looking the Panthers. Huge Mistake! The atmosphere will be awesome. It is awesome to here the roars of the crowds. 2008 was the most exciting game these two teams have ever put together. Hopefully it will be the same tonight but in our favor.

The excitement and crowd will BE there because of the close proximity of the schools.
I don't mean any disrepect, and I've been called down for it on this board, but I just don't see that it will be much of a game. I don't think KC is on Bell's level.
I think KC will be lucky if they score.

If you believe that it is not about him..........you have never played for him and have had your head under a rock for quite some time. That is what drives him and makes him successful. It is all about him.

Not talking about the program .....I'm talking about the man. The program is one of the best in the state....he is one of the best coaches in the state if not the best.........and it is about him.

Thats also the reason he doesnt put their last names on the back of the jersey's. Its a Us and not HIM type program. Thats why it is a GREAT PROGRAM..

Why do most of you think that is a bad thing?
11-19-2010, 09:48 AM
Bell will take care of business tonight. The defense will set the tone early to the KC ball carriers. And the offense will put enough points on the board to win.
Knox will not beat Bell on this night.

Trivia question. How many regional titles has Bell Co won?
How many have Knox won? guesses are accepted.
Earlier in the year I had my doubts about this defensive unit. But at this point I think they are 1 of the better ones Bell has ever put on the field.

3 field goals? or missed extra point and one field goal? or touchdown extra point and a safety? I will be very suprised if we don't find the end zone at least once. I believe their defense is good, but not able to contain our speed for an entire game.
