a rematch of this past Friday night. Camels beat GRC 45-42 in OT. Campbell County lead this game by 15 going into the 4th quarter, and began playing 2nd team beginning in the 3rd quarter. GRC fought back admirably and ties the game to force it to OT. It took the Camels D to preserve the win.
This will be a good match-up of contrasting styles. I know Campbell county sat defensive standouts Jake Rebholz and Tyler Durham, starting two sophomores in their place on defense. They will have both of these players back, which adds to their special teams as well.
It looked like GRC had a few players out of uniform as well, and likely will be getting some top players back for the playoff game as well.

Why did they schedule a potential 1st round playoff opponent in week 10? It's not like anyone is ducking Campbell County. I'm sure there's plenty of teams that would have been a better situation to have on the schedule in week 10.

They played each other last game of regular season last year at GRC. Was GRC's turn to go to Campbell Co.
This will be, IMO, one of the best 6A first round match ups. Last Fridays game went into 2 OT's at Campbell Co. This week GRC will have home field advantage and I believe will pull out the win in another very exciting game. GRC is #2 in their district behind Henry Clay and Campbell is #3. behind Ryle and Simon Kenton.

I agree with you GC, I believe this could well be the best match-up of the weekend in 6A. Campbell came out of arguably the toughest district top to bottom in 6A. Clark showed the toughness and no quit attitude of their program last week. This could/should be a fantastic match-up

I think a key component for a GRC win this week , is not to dig such a hole in the first half. Most would have thought that with CC having a 35-13 lead in the 3rd quarter that the game was over. I agree these GRC's Cards did not give up. Coach Columbia made the adjustments he needed to at the half. I will be going to the game this Friday. Look for another thriller of a game.
