Its ok Sheriff your young, back in the day 6-4 record wasnt good enough to get into the playoffs, that should tell you about football back in the day. (CONSOLIDATION) Now days everyone is in the playoffs which is great for the kids. You never no when a team that has had a not so good season is jelling together at that time of the season they can make the playoffs a nightmare for good teams..:biggrin:

A whole lot more teams make the playoffs now as opposed to then. We now have 6 classes instead of 4. Also then only the top 2 teams from each district made the playoffs instead of the top 4 teams today. The 86 BL team was tough.

This game has been moved to thursday due to the vollyball team playing in the state tournament in Louisville on Friday. Good luck to the BOBCATS, and for the seniors keep making history on the football field because we plan on doing it on the court as well.

Why even write that. This is a great group of boys that I believe could have done this no matter what year. They have accomplished alot and I say everyone needs to give them congrats on a great year:worthy:

Hey Bobcat fans the game is Friday....Maggert (head coach for Jenkins) didn't want to switch the days. It would have been nice to have the game on Thurs. and then head to Louisville Friday to support the vollyball ladycats in state tourn.
The football team would like to wish the ladycats good luck, we will be there in BOBCAT SPIRIT, you ladycats ROCK...:Clap:

BLHS contacted Jenkins and requested that they move the game. Jenkins agreed, then called back on Wednesday and said that they could not play. BLHS was told that Jenkins would only have 5 players if the game was moved to Thursday. BLHS then asked to move the game to Saturday, but Jenkins would not move the game to Saturday either. The reason BLHS asked for the move was to allow fans to travel to Louisville and watch the girls volleyball team play in the state volleyball tournament.
It is sad that someting could not be worked out. I thought our local schools were always willing to help each other out. I thought wrong.

so what, game was scheduled for a Friday originally, so it will be played on Friday just like everybodyelse does.:HitWall:
