What teams will be the ones to look for? Im going with Johnson Central I dont think they lost many players. My second pick would be MC they had a good team last yr just fell short.
#2
Johnson Central was defeated in like the 2nd round of the regional tournament last year by ER if im not mistaken by like the 10 run rule.
#3
Same top three...Shelby Valley, East Ridge, and Pikeville all have their top pitchers back. Region winner comes out of that district.
#4
deos anyone know anything about the other three district.
57th-jc, mc
58th no idea ( heard of at least 2 coaching changes)
59-- er,sv
60--belfry-pcc

in the 59th my pick would have to be shelby valley. They have a great pitcher
#6
Er does as well
#7
I haven't seen ER play, how many seniors does ER and SV have this yr?
#8
ER has 3 returning seniors. Yates-pitcher Conley-catcher Smith-Right Field
#9
East Ridge should be very good.

Paintsville might not make a big impact in the fifteenth region but I think that these girls could turn some heads in the 56th. If their girls would actually put forth some time and effort and they had somewhere where they could practice a decent amount of time they have the potential to be a good team. Their shortstop, Jesikah Russell, is a great all around athlete and their pitcher, Emily Lemaster, has improved ALOT since her freshman season. They only lost one starter from last year and that was center fielder Brittany Webb, and I believe that there are girls that are ready to fill that position. But who knows we'll have to wait until March rolls around. Shelby Vally is also a prominent team in the fifteenth.
#12
haha...if u say so
#13
who are going to be the suprise teams this year in each district?
#14
Don't forget about Lawrence Co. moving to the 15th....I believe they will be able to compete.

Don Burke is the new Head Coach at AC. He was an assistant he last few years. I know him pretty well, and he seems to be very knowledgable of the sport. AC also has some talented players back. They should be improved in 2006.
#25
I think MC will have 15 home runs this year all 2-gether
#26
I think Pcc might make some noise this year if they can get a good pitcher.
#27
I think LC will be a big threat also...if they can resolve their coaching issues.
#28
S.Valley may not want to book their rooms yet.
#29
1.Shelby Valley
2.East Ridge
3.Pikeville

The champion once again will be one of these 3 teams.
#30
I'm going with Valley, I mean they only lost one senior last year, so they got practically all of last year's team coming back.
