Highlands wins by 10.

I think that Highlands will come out on top but not with a challenge. Ryle is going to make them play a good game. Ryle has improved alot and Highlands needs to take them seriously. All in all I agree with Blackcatalum: Highlands by 10.
Although an upset would be nice :eyeroll:

I'll take Highlands by 7.

I think Ryle pulls the rematch out in this one...last time they played Highlands tough on the road, but with it being in their own backyard I think they pull it out.

Highlands best is far superior to Ryle's best. That said, Highlands has been going through the motions the last few weeks and letting bad teams hang around. That could cost them at Ryle. I predict Highlands is ready this week. Highlands 41 Ryle 14.

I do not think you have to worry about Highlands taking them serious!

The last couple of weeks has me alittle worried. If HHS comes out to play like I know they can, I think they come away 14-17 pt winners. If they come out flat, make turnovers and unforced penalties, it could allow Ryle to hang around like Cov Cath did. I will be curious to see if after Cov Cath had success with the pass, if we will see Ryle try to go to the air? I think HHS wants to come out and show what they are capable of before the playoffs start.

Highlands will more than likely win this game but i would like to know why you play the same team twice in the season?
10-25-2010, 07:16 AM
I expect that the Birds will continue to rest guys as much as possible to get themselves healthy. Ryle could put up a very solid game, but I expect Highlands to still walk away with a 3 score winning margin

No one else will play Highlands the week before the playoffs. Next year is going to be even worse.

There's a way to solve that. Make that week your bye week like Russell or Raceland does for example.

It is a Fox Ohio televised game so the team from Ft. Thomas will play em all and try to score as many as they can

The Birds will get the passing game on track, the secondary of Ryle is their week point. The Birds will score 30+ in the first half which turns this game into a game of 2nd and 3rd stringers on Cable TV.

Because Ryle stepped up where others wouldn't.

I see the Birds jumping off to a quick lead in the first quarter, Ryle coming back in the second quarter, and the Birds blowing Ryle out in the second half with a final of 45-27. Don't be surprised by an upset, however, because there's still plenty of banged up Highlands players.

There's only 3 good teams in the entire state. No one else wants to play because they don't want to get demoralized. Many a team has played Highlands, gotten destroyed, and went into a tailspin the rest of the season. The last time Highlands played Newcath and beat them 68-0, Newcath ended up about 2-10.

Highlands best is not far superior to Ryle best for the simple fact that Highlands is not very good on the lines period. Ryle moved them around the first game and I expect the same thing to happen this time around. Still I think Highlands wins.

Because Coach Warner of Ryle would play Highlands (one of the best teams around) and lose rather then play a team like Scott or Holmes for an almost guaranteed win. In his opinion the team improves more by playing a good team and losing instead of an easy win.
And for those thinking Ryle has no passing game, think again. it has improved a lot since the first Highlands game, its not perfect maybe not even great but good enough to keep some of the defense off the running game. This gives Elliot a little more room to run.
