That is not true the starters are what matter. The coaches just tell the players that so they won't get down on theirself when they dont start.

It will be a much tighter region this year, thats for sure.
I like Paintsville this year.
But, I think it could really come down to coaching.

Starters are important in the terms of getting the game rolling so to speak.. But they can only do so much.. That's where the bench comes in.. Just because you are on the bench to start the game doesn't necessarily mean you are a worse player than one of the starters..

Either Paintsville because all their starters are talented or Johnson Central
12-01-2005, 10:36 PM
BL's 5 are awesome....
12-01-2005, 10:39 PM
BL needs a guard. Im going to say Johnson Central, when McCarty comes back.

Y do u think that for??? Ryan Johnson is a three year starter, and the rest of them either started or got ALOT of playing time last year so they have alot of expience and they are wiser than the boys from paintsville... I agree with Homer
12-01-2005, 11:23 PM
They are wiser, I agree. In my opinion better, with the exception of their four man.
12-01-2005, 11:28 PM
Good point i will give u that.... Sf is havin a problem trying to findout who they r going to start there at 4
12-01-2005, 11:34 PM
who will they start?...matt little?
12-01-2005, 11:39 PM
i look for them to start justin slone, but who knows tj might just sneak into the pic
12-01-2005, 11:43 PM
I know Justin is talented and good at almost every sport it seems. Matt tries very hard. Tj is well just Tj.
12-01-2005, 11:45 PM
lol... tj works very hard when he does get his playing time, but like u said jut is good at almost every sport he puts his mind on
12-01-2005, 11:49 PM
Jut is good, however he acts like he doesn't care as much about basketball as he does football and baseball.
12-01-2005, 11:52 PM
yea thats true, but its his senior year so I am looking for him to try hard b/c u know just as well as i do, every season wants to go to rupp
12-01-2005, 11:55 PM
That is a dream of every young baller in Kentucky.
12-01-2005, 11:56 PM
i heard that... I would just like to see a 58th team go this year
12-02-2005, 12:00 AM
Wouldn't we all. With the exception of P-burg LOL
12-02-2005, 12:35 AM
good point...
12-02-2005, 12:46 AM
I think if a team from the 58th did go it would be between Besty Layne and South Floyd
12-02-2005, 12:47 AM
Agree #4 because P-burg won't make it past first game of districts, when the number 1 seed, BL, beats them, the number 4.

c ryan little- exelent scorer
pf tj hall/justin slone - tj is powerful but slone is quick and can score
sf ethan johnson - in my opinion 3nd best junior in the region
sg mason hall - exelent passer and shooter from the 3 point line
pg ryan johnson - most talented/ smartest player in the region
By putting Ethan #3 best junior in the region whos number 2. I really don't know that many juniors in the 15th so I'm just wondering.

Paintsville
12-02-2005, 12:18 PM
prestonsburg starting 5 looks pretty good with mcguire, stephens, leslie, herrick, and barnett
12-02-2005, 01:10 PM
SF starting five is the early favorite this year... They have to much experience in every posistion
12-02-2005, 03:17 PM
And how many times has BL been past the first round of districts in the past 3 years?hh:

That last msg was a reply to this quote. Sorry for not putting it on my msg.

P Burg has a good starting five. They are very experienced.
12-03-2005, 03:29 AM
I think that Paintsville has the best starting five in the region... South Floyd does have experience, but still they aren't good enough to be called the best
