Whittle was very impressive in Hale's absence: 15/24 for 214 yards, 1 TD, 1 2 pt conversion, and zero turnovers. It seemed like the offense didn't miss a beat.
#4
Total Domination.Casey looked great in his first start.
#5
congrats to Boyle
#6
Why didn't Hale play?
#7
Violation of team rules.

Blowouts are boring to talk about aren't they?

Yep. Looking forward to the Christian County game myself.

We will have another one next week as well. The last game of the regular season we will travel to Harlan Co. Should be a good game until 2nd quarter. When do you guys play CC?

Last regular season game. We have East next week and then CC.

So Boyle is over looking East. East d isnt that great. But East OL will dominate the line scrimmage and Thomas and crew will run for 375+.

:thatsfunn:thatsfunn:thatsfunn

So East has defeated ONE team with a winning record and now they are going to dominate the line of scrimmage and run on the team that is ranked second in the entire state vs. the run. You crack me up. :please:

And East is Ranked number one in the entire state in running the ball. I want to see East 63 and Boyle 05 .

Actually they are ranked second.

Again, those stats were run up against losing teams. Boyle has flexed their defense against 5 teams thus far with winning records.

I'll take their defense any day against the East Jessamine "Run Attack".

We'll see come Friday night.

And those stats were before the 498 yards East rushed against Lex. Cath.

Look joejoe the one thing you dont do is run the ball on Boyles defense.if you dont believe me ask some of the Bell co. fans how good Boyles run defense has been the times they have played us,no offense but you guys will be lucky if you run for a 100 yds against there D.I cant remember the last time a team ran the ball on Boyles defense with any success.you have not seen a defense like this since you played Boyle last year, and East didnt move the ball at all against us last year.i know east will give us all they got,but to say they will run the ball for almost 400 yds against one of the best run Ds in the state.it aint gonna happen.

Care to tackle the "strength of schedule" argument? :eyeroll:

Congrats Boyle

Sad part is I honestly think you believe this. There isn't a facepalm big enough for this.

Congrats Boyle Co.

I've never laughed so hard in my life!!!!! :thatsfunn

Now, the score may be the other way around though. No team comes into Boyle County and runs the ball, let alone wins. I'm sorry, but it does not and will not happen. You all lost to Catholic by 6, a team we blew out. So doing the math, we should blow out next Friday as well.

And French will not let this team overlook anybody. The Rebs will be ready for you all. You're offensive line hasn't seen guys like Paul Megilligan, Ryan Wilson, and Lamar Dawson! You'll be in for a surprise.

The same East Jessamine that I watched Somerset play in The Grid at Frankfort? They could do nothing with the Briar Jumper defense and they won't do anything against the Rebel defense either. Somerset's defensive line and linebackers completely shut the Jag's running game down. If they get over 150 yards on the ground against Boyle County it will be in garbage time.

I'm gonna have to give credit to Johnson Central. They did run on our 'D'....just sayin.

Its a 10 play scrimmage, and you must have been at a different one because they had 195 yards in in 27 run plays

How good were you all after Smith and before French. Not that great, East has some kids that can play. They need coaches that can coach. Yeah they lost to Cath. by 6 but they ran all over them. I could be wrong but they will gain more yards rushing than Boyle has given up in a while. Don't get me wrong because I think Boyle is one of the top 5 teams in the state and Dawson should definately win Mr. Football. But we do have one of the top RB and OL in the state.

Yeah. 400 might have been a stretch. And I still think East should have beat Cath., they just dont have one of the best coaches in the state like Boyle does. Sorry to have posted this on a Boyle win post. Congrats on the win.

Both teams ran 30 plays in 10 play intervals. East Jessamine didn't come close to scoring in any of their 10 play sets. Since the field was only about 70 yards long your math just doesn't add up. Somerset scored 3 touchdowns. There's no way East had even 100 yards in their 30 plays. Besides, it will be hard to have 375 yards with the clock running the whole second half.

Somerset fumbled before they reached the end zone on 1 of those tds you are counting , which Somerset coaches tried to cahange what marker was actually the End Zone. Somerset had 2 big pass playes other than that not much. I have the DVD if you need a reminder. And unless Boyle has no class the clock running would be the best time to run the ball. Because they should have pulled the starters by then.

Whatever, I know that East Jessamine was not nearly as good as Danville and we saw how the Admirals offense fared against Somerset and Boyle. It won't be close.
