Let's just crown South Floyd the Champions of the 15th in every single category since according to all their fans they're the best at EVERYTHING...Any thread started on bluegrassrivals over anything at all in this world, has to end with South Floyd being the best...Now maybe the rest of us are missing something but I could have sworn I didn't hear any pre-sesaon hype of South Floyd being this dominant by any non-biased sources...By the way..
Paintsville has the best starting 5, and I dont even know who starts but they have
Slone
Vanhoose
Pugh
Grimm
Bundy
Williams
and more.....

Wow..I can see that you've obviously been in a cave since last year....
4 Freshmen started last year for Paintsville..They're the obvious favorites to win region, and anybody with a brain that doesn't have South Floyd printed all over it can tell you they have the best starting 5...

Everyone feels that way except for biased fans...I'm just saying that South Floyd has a very mediocre starting 5...They're not the best by any means...

And the opinion of anybody that knows basketball....But since you have such big South Floyd blinders on, I can see that you won't understand that until you see Paintsville actually play...I've said my piece on the matter...I'll wait for any other non-biased fan of basketball to pitch in with their two cents...
By the way..Calling my Webster just makes me feel better about knowing how to spell and having at least a decent vocabulary, so please by all means keep that going...

You're right Doc, and I do appologize for my asinine behavior...I just get frustrated with the 200 million South Floyd fans on this site that can't see past Hi-Hat Kentucky and realize that there are more teams in the region other than South Floyd...

"200 million South Floyd fans on this site that can't see past Hi-Hat Kentucky"
looks like someone needs to start paying more attention to other educational subjects than spelling maybe math or geography

Alfus is right! I am a JCHS fan to the bone but Paintsville does have the best starting 5 and maybe the best 1-7 in the region. Now will they win the region? Who knows but as the season begins they have to be the best starting 5.
BTW, How many Region Titles does SF have?
Enough said, SF does not want PHS this season! As well an many other teams in the district.

Sarcasm can be dangerous, but to stay on topic, I'm going to point out that Prestonsburg has an all senior starting line-up... does any other team in the region have an all senior SLU? I'm not implying that having an all senior line-up puts Prestonsburg at the top by any means... I just haven't seen a line-up composed of only seniors in quite some time.

south floyd may not win region but i mean they have as good as a shot as ne 1
12-01-2005, 01:26 PM
If noone will touch them, then I am sure they will win region :thumb:

Paintsville has the best starting five...But on another note. I totally agree with Alfus in correcting the grammar and spelling mistakes...It is incredibly frustrating to try to decypher a post that uses atrocious grammar and broken spelling... Please, it only detracts from the point that you're trying to make when you post like this because we can't understand you... Noone expects perfect spelling or grammar, but try to make an effort.

There's a lot of good starting 5's in the region. Paintsville and regardless of what you want to think Prestonsburg's is good too. They have a lot of talented players and hustlers who are all senior. But as of right now, I have to go with Paintsville (and for the next few years they will always be the best starters). But ofcourse, when the season really gets started opinions AND facts will change.

I dont know why everyone is talking about South Floyd . They are going to be just like betsy layne. Come out and show everyone that really trhey are no good...Bestr startin 5 is between p-burg and paintsville
12-01-2005, 04:19 PM
in my opinion starting five doesnt really matter its just who can finish the game
12-01-2005, 04:30 PM
