As for those dreaming on a T.J. Houshmandzadeh return to Cincinnati — the odds of it happening are slim. According to a league source, something probably will happen with him today or tomorrow and it most likely will be a trade or release. I also can’t see the Bengals going after him because that would make three No. 1 receivers and you stunt the progress of Jordan Shipley, who has had a great preseason. Shipley could be a Housh-like weapon in this offense … for a lot less. As for a possible next destination for 84? Keep an eye on Minnesota.

Literally within an hour of each thread, on Leinart and then TJ, other teams signed those players and the Bengals made no action
