In the two games the bobcats they haven't look impressive. Each week they seem to be improving, I think there defense will care them for the early part of the season but o-fense will come around by mid season and be a force to be reckon with. Another thing I like about this team the just find a way to win, they never quit or give up. I think this team moto should be find a way because in the last two weeks they turn it up when they have to they just need to put a full game together.

I hope its not another game like last years Im not sure my heart can take another one like that! I think this is either gonna be a really close game to no ones surprise or a big time blowout that shocks everyone.

Prestonsburg has went into Breathitt Co. and come out with a couple of big wins in recent years. I'm going with the Blackcats in a close one.

Don't necessarily agree with this. I think Pburg is the one that hasn't gotten the respect they deserve.

I see a Blackcat win in a close battle, because the Bobcats are improving each day of this young season. What's great about this game is you have two established programs going head to head. Prestonsburg and Breathitt both play some petty tough out of district competition.

ckns Wrote:first of all everyone is surpised that they beat SC that is what im talking about! You have a right to your opinion, as do I. They have played two 0-2 teams so far and have looked bad on seven of the eight quarters they have played. I know SC was good last season, but this is not last season, and they are not as good as they were, and neither is Breathitt at this time. Do I think they have the chance to be good by playoff time, yes. But as of now they have not shown that they are very good. As for the "...everyone is surprised that they beat SC......" statement, that is not true because I knew that they were just as good as SC as did my Father and a few others, so "everyone" did not think that the Bobcats would lose to SC. Now the game against Prestonsburg it may be closer to "everyone." I say if Breathitt found a way to play better in the fourth quarter of the SC game and they keep it up, they may beat Prestonsburg. Play like they have in 7 of 8 quarters, they will lose. I hope the Bobcats win every game, but I know that is not realistic.
things take time they could do better, but their better than last year so im just thankful for that and you all should be too.

I will take the bobcats by one touchdown at Holcomb Field. Breathitt will be ready to play due to the fact they have been beaten by the Blackcats the past couple of years. The X factor in this game will be Josh Fletcher. If Fletcher has a big game the bobcats will be 3-0 but if he doesn't they will have lost to the Blackcats for the third year in a row. Go Bobcats.

yes i know everyone has there opinion.
&& yes they havent done their best.
if they do start cramping ("most of the team") their less likely to win.
but im gonna stick with breathitt just because i go to school there and my boyfriend plays.
i hope they keep getting better and get to state

i think thats why they are all getting ready big time because they have lost the honey bowl 3 years in a row now and this will make 4 if they lose and they should want this pretty bad.
i mean come on guys do it for everyone prove them wrong and show them you can beat them i know the football players read this.
im very proud of you all but you all could play better and im hoping we win.

Prestonsburg has the edge, even though the game is at Breathitt. Excellent coaching and skilled players will make the difference.

breathitt is very young they have PLAYED bad but have looked good to . they HAVE 10 grader at Q back AND 11 & 10 grader in the backfeild.an there wideout ARE 11 & 10 graders . give them time they will show alot of people wrong.they ARE better then last years team. because they all get along good. they no its goning to take all of them to do it.an line is goning to be ok. JUST GIVE THEM TIME THEY ARE JUST KIDS.

this is why Brethitt should be coming out ready to play. Pritchard is back for this game and i hope to see him have a good defensive game...If Pritchard is able to get in the backfield he is gonna hit someone...he had a safty against Cville before getting tossed....so i will go with breathitt and if Trent and Pritchard have a good game then this will be rough for Pbrug

If Breathitt can keep Prestonsburg from scoring on big plays, then the Bobcats stand one helluva chance at winning this one and the same goes for Prestonsburg. I think we're more of a big play threat than Breahitt, but the Bobcats do have Fletcher, who is a very speedy receiver.
I don't expect Prestonsburg to blitz as much as they usually would this game, as I think we will have more guys drop back into coverage.

You could be right, but expect Prestonsburg to run their normal "send everyone" defense and make Breathitt's QB throw under pressure. If it doesn't seem to be working on the first few series, I'm sure they'll make some changes.

The real mix it up and make u guess, and there going to have to because P-burg always has a good defense and they are always good in pass coverage. I think that if the bobcats can play with them in the first two quarters they will win. But if the blackcats strike right out of the gates and then score again I don't think that bobcats will win, but I really don't look for that to happen, I look for it to be a defensive game.

If the Bobcats play with a sense of urgency as they did in the 4th quarter against SC, they will stay in this game and may win. If they are lethargic and play as they have in the first 7 quarters of the season, they will lose. Simple as that IMO.
