OK yall its time for another poll I feel it I was wondering do you think russel after winning the region if they are a shocker, or a dreamer for the state championship??????

I have to say dreamer as well they had what it takes to win the reg but I do not think they have what it takes to win the state. But do not get me wrong they have good players but so does the catholic boys.

After watching Belfry early in the season at a scrimmage against Pulaski (I know scrimmages don't matter much) and watching Russell's intensity in a big game against Ashland (2nd game of the season for Russell), I started telling people that although this is the worst Russell team in the last 3 years, this was their best chance to make it to state and win it because of how much further down the rest of the state was in 2A. I didn't even completely believe myself when I first said it, because I can't stand Russell, but it was true.

I think you were right on with your assessment. :thumb:

At the same time I was saying there is no way Belfry could make it back to the State Title game, but only later did I learn how down the rest of 2A was going to be.
