I think it's crazy nobody is giving credit to Ashland. Just because Ashland didn't go out and beat G.C. by 30 doesn't mean they're a bad team. Actually Ashlands skill players are really good. Hart said Hunter was the best QB in the Area, I have to believe him. Hunter is clutch. They talk about having a couple starters out. But G.C. had Jon Harr(6'6 285 SR.) out which was All-Area line last season. Also Lyle wasn't a 100%. Poplin, Nichols, Hampton and Stringfellow first Varsity game. Copley is doing a great job at G.C. Which most would say this is a grave yard for coach's. But at the end of the day Ashland was the better team. G.C. next goal is get ready for Russell.

I just give credit where it is due. GC has a good team this year. I was at the Ashland game and was very impressed with Greenup. They should have beat Ashland. I think Russell has the Mental edge over GC but that's about it. If Russell can't stop GC on the ground they won't have a prayer. I'll be there Saturday.....we'll see.

Let's hope the big guys up front for Russell is the difference maker in the game. I'd really like to see Russell take this game! I never had a problem with Greenup all through school or even a few years after. But after joining this site I can't stand them! You would think they have won more than like 15 games in the past 5 years the way the fans act on here.

There sure is an awful lot of green and maroon in Ram Stadium for those playoff games to hate us soo bad. I would go watch Russell myself if they were in the playoffs. But not Greenup.. Not that I will ever have to worry about that lol..

Here in Louisa we are hoping that we get to play our starters more than the first quarter when Greenup comes to LC. We do not like the running clock so hopefully GC will be ready to play this year. We definitely are not scared and look forward to a competitive matchup.

Greenup Countys best cornerback did'nt play this season, and it showed, # 20 will have to do a better job in coverage, but this year the Devils will get it run over them, like they have run over us in past seasons.
