I figured you would have some explanation as to why Pikeville is only one of three teams to not make the region in the last three years. There are 15 teams in the 15th region and 12 have been represented. Talent must not be too bad, two former Pikeville players went to Shelby Valley and have some form of State Championship ring on there finger.

Hobo McCoy left and went to Pike Central High School. Believed that he set a PCC record of 46 points in one game and has earned other player awards.

So sad, the world full of so many great critics. An opportunity for kids to have fun and build great memories once again spoiled by others who have there own selfish agenda....

Only great memories for the Kids has been stolen away by the staff, nobodys selfish agenda but the coaching staff's.

The fact is the coaching staff has caused all there own problems and their record speaks for itself. They get progressively worse as the season goes on every year. Why in your opinion Blue Sky has Pikeville joined the ranks of Magoffin and South Floyd. Anxious to hear this one.

If I am a critic then so be it. I only stated facts and I dont think you wanted to hear them. My opinion would be much worse than the facts.

Why do you think Hobo left?
Becuause he was told he would not play as a freshman.
I Wonder how good they would be if he were still there, or if they would have made it to the region last year?

I wish Bart the best of luck

If Pikeville makes it out of District under Bart they need to give them a police escort to the Expo Center with fire trucks and banners The Works.:lmao:

Well it has worked out for two others. Who left this year?
#42
If Coach Williams, Coach May, Coach Collins and Coach Jones loses in the district tournament this year, what will happen at Pikeville then? I am just wondering how it will play out. Sure would like to see Pikeville win the district this year.
#43
Who is the one besides Devin Adams that left, who has some kind of bling on their finger? Who is the other kid?
#44
Zach Ramey was homeschooled and then went to SV.
#45
He played for Pikeville? When did he play? Didn't he play 6th man for Shelby Valley? Seems odd that a kid can come from a nobody on Pikeville's bench, to a 6th man on Shelby Valley's bench?
#46
Haven't got to see Pikeville play in quite a while.. Do they have anyone that is raw? Kinda like the guy that played for them back a few years ago.. The Garfield guy? I thought he was pretty tough.
#47
Who is the other guy who has left for Shelby Valley this week?
#48
Zach Ramey played at Pikeville 7th, 8th, and 9th. Homeschooled his Sophomore year and moved to SV to play as a Junior and soon his Senior year

And the freshman Steven Silvers moved to Valley as well as Rachel Smith who is a very good athlete
#49
Isn't Steven Silvers only going to be in the 7th grade?

When a parent can control whether a coach is fired or not, there is a lack of institutional control at that school, and it looks like some housecleaning needs to be done, starting with the person who the school is under his watch. If this is allowed to go on, maybe it should start at the top and work it's way down. No parent should have that much control.

Coach Williams always gets out coached in the district tournament. I'd keep him around. Maybe the talent he has this year will help him out and he can learn from them boys.
#53
Hopefully Pville will never get rid of Bart. The world needs more Bart Williams' to lead our youth. Off and on the court he is a great leader and role model. His lifestyle is to be commended and he's a great person. Win or lose Bart has the most important quality needed to be a successful human being....he has tremendous heart and soul. Maybe some of his players will not only learn the game of basketball from him, but maybe they'll take away some life lessons as well......like how to be a good person.
#54
If players would PLAY, parents would PARENT, and let coaches COACH, the world would be a much better place. Good luck this season Coach Williams, staff, and Panthers! I wish you ALL great success this season!

How naive some people are? Ask around what kind of person who he is from former players and parents, and you will be suprised. IMHO his job is on the hot seat, if he doesn't win district this year, the powers that be, will have his job.
