Wow, where to start.......There's just so many.Here's a few that stick out to me....

1991 - Belfry ends Pikevilles undefeated streak at 38
1998 - Belfry defeated Bell County 14-13 in the 3A Playoffs
1999 - Belfry defeats Ironton,OH 17-14
2000 - Belfry defeats Prestonsburg 20-14 in double overtime
2003 - Belfry defeats Prestonsburg 27-19 in Round 2 of the playoffs
2003 - Belfry -33 Elizabethtown -27,wins 1st ever State Championship !
2004 - Belfry defeats Prestonsburg in an overtime thriller 20-14
2004 - Belfry defeats Prestonsburg in front of over 10,000 at Vipperman Stadium in the Regional Championship
2004 - Belfry defeats Russell 39-17 in the last game ever at Vipperman Stadium in the State Semifinals
2004 - Belfry -28 Owensboro Catholic -21, Back to Back State Champions !

All 4 years!!!!!!

Everything about being at Belfry was great. The family atmosphere, the morning pep rallys that lead from the top floor all the way to the science building, my friends, being a cheerleader for the Pirates for 4 years, proms, parties, everything!!!

One of them would have to be going to state in 85 & 86. What heartbreakers. My brother played on those 3A teams, as did a few present Belfry Assistant coaches. 1985-1989 were great years to be at Belfry.

Well I went to the Belfry game 2004 against P-berg. Belfry was running out and it was time for P-berg to run out and then a P-berg boy was running infront of them and feel in the mud and him getting up and most ppl laughing because it was funny. The fans at the games and how much they got into them, but we all know that Belfry is a Football atmosphere school and community!!!!!!!!!

The 98 win sheldon clark had over belfry in regional championship.. Or it might of been 99. i forget....

I have many Belfry memories...I really miss that place. I remember being in the stands when we won the first state championship..4th and goal on the 1 yard line..we all knew that after this next play we would win..and then it happened. I also remember last year in the first Prestonsburg game..they punted to us and Doug fumbled it. He jumped on the ball and layed there and about 3 or 4 Prestonsburg players jumped on him and kneed him or something while he was already down...he got up and grabbed the nearest one by the facemask and just floored that boy..that was an awsome moment.
