Wonbass us open cheating
#1
Angler Mike Hart allegedly was caught bringing salted Bass to the scales. The contents of the stomach revealed torpedo weights up to 3oz. with a hook attached to keep them from coughing it up. This event is regarded as the toughest in all of bass fishing. After a recipient of donated dead fish discovered the weights he reported it. A sting was set-up on the final day of the event to catch the offender. Hart was regarded as a local legend in Southern California. I do not know how to post links but you can view the articles at the following sites along with pics. Please read these and educate yourself if you fish competetively.

What is most upsetting is his status here on the west coast! He was sponsored by some standup industry leaders. Those included were Ranger Boats-Mercury and so on. Anglers Marine which has more than once been the top Ranger dealership in the country was also his personal sponsor. The owner of Anglers was beside himself. Hart fished alongside top Big Bass expert Bill Siemantel for years. If you saw the records and money you get my drift. I have watched him leave with my entry fee a couple times myself. All local tournament directors have already banned him from competition. Never again will he be able to show his face here. What got to me the most was the degree of cruelty involved. Imagine how much pain and suffering the fish endured before there slow death. I will be fishing my first USOPEN in 2011. The event is brutal. Lake Meade heat is in the 115 degree realm. Then you have to deal with freak wind and huge swales. Its definatley the Iron Man Event of Bass Fishing. I will be devoting as many days as my schedule allows to learn the lake. The drive from SanDiego alone is 5hrs. I will strive to represent Kentucky well.
