Pike Central has some arrogance. I would never over look Shelby Valley, East Ridge, or Phelps. It be a shame for all that trash talk to go to waste in the pike county bowl if Phelps takes it too you.

I dont know why you think I care that PC beat East Ridge. For all I care PCC could beat East Ridge by 258-0, and It wouldnt bother me in the least. Mind you, my already bad opinion of Chapman would get worse. In any case one good season out of 16 doesn't give anyone the right to proclaim the high and mighty attitude that Pike Central has had over this offseason. Epically after getting hit after graduation. I never said Phelps would beat PCC. I dont expect them too, but apparently neither does PCC. But on a more personal note, I'm about sick and tired of you and people like you taking shots at East Ridge for my personal thoughts, I have explained that I am in no way affiliated with that school. Just a friend.

I do not agree with Real Badman often, but he is right Pike Central is high up on that horse. They did NOTHING last year except beat 2 good teams (Sheldon Clark & Mason Co.) when they were missing key players. What does Pike Central do after the best (and only good season in school history) they put together an out of distrcit schedule that has 1 quality team (Prestonsburg). Continue to beat up on the Phelps of the world and we will continue to hoist regional championship trophies.

and before you throw up coming within 10 of Belfry, it was the muddiest game I've seen since the classic days at the Vipperman, and Belfry is a turf team. Until Belfry loses to a Pike County team (which hasn't happened since what, 2000?) then we're #1. I'm with Badman here. Graduation knocked the **** out of Pike Central, in my opinion. You'd think Pike Central is Highlands the way they talk on here.

hey I guess chapman has brought some of that breathitt county mentality to pike central. Breathitt county has been to the state championship game 4 times and chapman was their defensive head coach all 4 times. You have got to give him his props for his record at Breathitt and he has got two kids that are from breathitt and they both were starters for the teams that they played on perry and breathitt, they will help bring that winning mentality to the hawks. Only time will tell.

Looks like I really hit a nerve. Personally, I could care less about you and your thoughts on Chapman. Because he probably has the same thoughts about you...LOL. But as far as my post, you need to review yours and several of the other posts. PC is not the only one bragging, ok. They are on a high, they are building a program and why not? The other posters have sure tried to establish themselves with their brags. Go figure. The kids are excited and what's wrong with it. Give them a break and believe the hype.
And as for ER, you have commented enough, it's strange that you have no connection and share all their zeal. I guess enough said, let them settle this on the field and then we'll see.

Maybe it is just me, but before I would go proclaiming Pike Central as the team to beat over a school they have never defeated in school history, it would help your credibility to be able to at least spell that school's name.

What hype? The only people in the entire state talking about how good Pike Central will be is Pike Central's fans (and what do they know about GOOD Football?). The Cats Pause has you at 3rd in the district. There is no hype to Pike Central only loads of bull.

If you care to notice, I think my post indicated they were building a program and the hype was in the community. I never said anything about a state rating I don't believe. But it is ironic that you people can brag all you want and someone else posts a comment and you go NUTTS. And who cares about Cats Pause, where did it have you last year? And as far knowing about GOOD football, some do, they know that Belfry took a game from you last year. I guess that was good football wasn't it or was it wrestling...LOL. Anyway, it cost you and it's in the books. I just hate it that some people are not as omniscient as they think they are.....LOL GOOD Football.

Play Belfry within 10 in a mud bowl and beat an SC team with half their team injured or suspended, and Mason County without their superstar and all of a sudden their the best team? Ha, not to toot my horn, but until somebody beats Belfry, they're on top.
