John Wall
#1
has become the first player ever to lead the NBA Summer League in points and assists...very big accomplishment. This only goes to show what type of NBA player he is going to be.
#2
He performed at a high level during the SL, but he has to improve his shooting - as he only shot 38% during the SL.

Outstanding... I'm gonna do the John Wall now in his honor.

I think that his game has translated well to the next level and is continuing on every thing he did in college. Assists (check), points (check), amazing plays (check), and turnovers (check). He still has some growing to do to be the best point guard in the NBA in a few years.

Agreed, I was able to watch one of his games and it seems like he just goes on streaks where he won't miss, doesn't make mistakes and just runs the team perfectly. Then sometimes he gets a little ahead of himself and rushes things, hence the lower FG%/ high # of TOs. It will take some time but when he gets used to the NBA style of play....now you're talking possible GOAT.

BTW, is that P'burg's gym? Whoever's it is I have to give props, I love those old school gym's in Eastern KY. Kind of like a historic perspective of the region's past time. I am from Somerset and loved the old time atmosphere in their gym, great way to watch a high school game.

Will he be great? Hard to be great on a team that is going to compete for the Lottery pick again. Unfortuante for Wall, he has nothing to surround him.

Yes I still think he will be great, there were plenty of great players on bad teams last year or every year for that matter. I mean the Nets brought terrible to a new meaning last season, but I would still argue that Devin Harris is one of the top players in the league. Kevin Durant didn't lift Seattle into greatness his first year but he has still developed into a top 5 player in the league. I'm not saying his transition into the NBA is going to be silky smooth and I do expect the Wizards to struggle next season but John Wall WILL be a great player in the NBA very soon.

Durant is contending for a title over in OKC.
The Thunder are for real.

IDK about contending for a title anytime soon, but Durant is definitley holding his own.
