The National League Defeated The American League 3-1 In The All-Star Game! Brian McCann won the game on a 2 out 3 Run Double in the 7th inning i believe! McCann also Won The MVP Award!



Thank God The National League Won

Nice to see Scott Rolen started that 3 run rally with a single then came around to score on the McCann double.

I was hoping Votto would have gotten a hit...but at least he put some good contact on Rafael Soria's pitch.

Brandon Phillips made a smart defensive play to nab a runner at 2nd.

Glad to see this for when the Reds will have to use the home field advantage against the Yanks. Wink

That was kinda a dumb managing decision by Girardi to keep Ortiz in to run the bases...

I mean I understand you didn't have any people left except for A-Rod.

But you could have brought in a AL pitcher to pinch run and he still would have reached 2nd.

Ortiz is extremely slow.

Really shows the importance that it plays in managers mind. This was a logic decision and it just shows that he was not really worried about limiting the outs that the national league can get thus a BIG man who can not run the bases well was caught.
