Matt Maynard's father, Marion Maynard Sr., and Doug Howard's mother, Cheryl Howard, are brother & sister.

Yes, athletic ability is abundant in their family. Matt's brother, Mark "Boobie" Maynard, is probably the quickest PG I've seen play. Doug's older brother, Robbie, was a standout basketball player @ Williamson, WV. He could put his head in the rim and could probably still outrun both Doug & Matt.
