Will they be able to get the last game in tonight? I was at Food City in Hazard and the lights went off for a few seconds and came back on.

Ugly game, but a win for Jenkins in the bottom of the eighth.

Congratulations to Jenkins for setting a new state record for runs in a season!! 418 and counting!!!

They have to be up there in hits as well.... the record is 469 (Reidland, 1998) and the team whose record Jenkins just beat (Bell Co., 1997) is 4th in that category with 435. South (2005) and North Laurel (1999) are tied for second. Anyone know what the hit total for the Lady Cavs is?

Several dropped balls that should have been easy outs, several other errors, both teams left at least 5 runners stranded, etc.

If by ugly you are referring to 10 runners left on base and 6 errors for the Lady Cavs then you are correct. Having said that though any win is a good win in the post season.
