Awesome recruiting class

Strikeout King Wrote:i don't even see why people or making a big deal about this....its not like he signed papers and de-committed, all he done at his press conference was put the Washington Hat on, That's It and now there wanting to blast coach cal because Jones made his decision and it wasn't Washington?

I'm sure it's a huge deal to Washington fans.

Could you imagine if someone had verbally committed to Kentucky at a televised press conference, then turned around a few days later and signed with another school?

We'd all be outraged.

I really wish I could have listened to that radio show though. For some reason, it wouldn't load on my computer last night, but it sounds like it would have been hilarious to listen to.

This class definitely rivals last season's. With a top recruiting coach and the "mountaintop of college basketball" we should literally expect this year in and year out.
#34
I hope as Kentucky fans we learned our lesson about expectations.

Hated the way that we got him but really glad we did.

The radio show was hilarious. This girl really just repeated herself over and over how Cal has infractions, Which is incorrect. How He called Jones, Incorrect. She kept hanging up on UK fans that had any knowledge of the game and the situation.

Top 10 national recruit Terrence Jones decided to sign a financial aid package from Kentucky on Wednesday to play basketball next season, according to Scout.com and the Louisville Courier-Journal.

This means Jones is not fully committed to Kentucky, which is no surprise considering the bizarre course his recruitment process has run and his posturing throughout.

Jones verbally committed to Washington in April, then signed an aid package with Kentucky on Wednesday. Neither of those moves are official and binding for him. The aid package will be available to him should he decide to sign a letter of intent with Kentucky.

This approach was first taken by a possible future teammate of Jones', Brandon Knight. Knight decided to sign an aid package with Kentucky earlier in the recruiting process.

"I felt like they played a better schedule and had a lot better team," Jones told Nick Daschel of The Oregonian as to why he decided on Kentucky instead of Washington.

Jones' decision came on the final day an incoming basketball player could sign a national letter of intent and his possible departure deals a major blow to Washington's 2010-11 basketball roster.

So does this mean that he can back out and go to washington?

i was referring to an earlier post that said that reports came out of Louisville that he signed the LOI.

He is true blue! The only way he would not sign that LOI is because of all these alligations of Coach Cal going to the pros. But I believe that since these players are committing, Cal has to be staying!
