I'm not sure. I've looked everywhere on why there open and couldn't find anything. Bracken County started there Football Program in 2003. Since then there 6-74 (Over All), 4-52 (Region), 2-38 (District). They've Changed Coaches in 2007, 2009, Now 2011

I'd say this is an above average year. From my count there are 222 football teams in the state of Kentucky and 35 new coaches (32 already hired). That is approximately 16% of (a little under 1/5) the schools playing football in the state. It seems like that's an awfully large amount of turnover. Now, I am still fairly new to the state so I can't comment on years past. But where I'm from in Indiana, we had about 50 coaching changes two years ago and that was a record and we have 315 teams playing football. So comparatively, that's a lot. I don't think there's any way we see this many next year.

Update: 36 confirmed positions have been filled. Bracken hired Kevin Siple and I found out that Breckinridge's Mooney left and the position was filled by an assistant, though I have not yet been able to confirm who it is.
