I wouldn't think so either madness, but Mitchell has a ton of spots open and I guarantee you Creech will be better than at least one of the players he scrambles to pick up to fill those spots.

If she can shoot she can play at UK. Mitchell's style puts a lot of emphasis on being able to press and play full court D too but I think he's even learning this year that you can't just have 5 quick athletes and win, you have to have shooters mixed in.

Well I dont think they will be scrambling to fill spots. The 2016 class will take care of that. You cant beat Top 10 BCS teams with Mid Major or Low Major players. They are not ranked #7 with kids like that. Pretty simple concept.

Creech will do very well at Western. Every kid doesn't have to go to UK to be successful. But mommas don't let your babies grow up to be Tards.

Whitney Creech finishes with 58 points in Jenkins' loss to Breathitt County. She now has 4,724 for her career.

She can score and rebound

Good luck tonight against Knott Co.

It will be a shame that she goes 4 years and not go to a state tournament.
01-18-2016, 08:09 PM
With her ability If she played better team ball and would pass the ball to some of her team mates and not be so worried about HER points they could go to state
01-29-2016, 08:19 PM
How close to 5,000 is she now?

I haven't seen Jenkins play but I would assume if she wasn't putting up 47 ppg and was letting others shoot they'd be a lot worse than they are.
01-31-2016, 03:32 PM
They couldn't win if she did not take the vast majority of their shots. She is a DI kid playing with a bunch of average high school kids. How competitive has Jenkins been in the 14th before she showed up?
01-31-2016, 06:39 PM
I have seen her play and she does force some shots, but she has to. There are only a couple other girls that can shoot and they are stand and shoot players. Not downing the other players, just what I observed. She plays her heart out from tip to buzzer.

I think if she would pass the ball more teams wouldn't be able to triple team her and she wouldn't have to force so many shots
01-31-2016, 06:47 PM
And before everyone thinks I am a hater I am saying if she passes it will pull the defense and she will get better shots

When you are a great player who plays on a team that has limited skill, you must play on a great AAU team in order to get exposure of the top D1 schools. Who did Creech play for on the AAU circuit? She can score at will against most girls. I would say length and athleticism at the top programs are the main concerns with the top dog D1 programs.
02-01-2016, 08:08 PM
I think playing at WKU is a pretty dang good place to play. D1 aint it?
02-01-2016, 09:58 PM
Where is she at now with points?
02-01-2016, 10:22 PM
63 away from the record, I believe.

I think she played for team slick out of Florida. Don't quote me on the state. But the teams name is team slick.
