Knox Central @ Bell Co 11/19
mommacat Wrote:This is a Bell/Knox thread buddy, that'll be next weeks talk, We take one game at a time. Enjoy that STATE CHAMP though for the next couple weeks, cause you might not get to keep it in a couple weeks...just sayin...!

Redstorm is not a fan of Boyle but bandwagoner who is a supporter of one of your beaten foes.

Rebel fans aren't going to come on here and incite something that no one knows for sure will happen.

Good luck to the Bobcats.

I think what he is saying is your team would do better with him at WR against us.

You have Barger, Turpin, Gist, Bailey, and now Canady in the backfield. Bell will shut you guys down if you do. Atleast if Jeffery is wideout we would have to defend the pass a little more with him out there, plus the run.

Broughton, Travis Canady, Merida, and Evans. Are fine WR's but no Jeffery Canady that can catch it plus have speed to get away from the defender.

Its an interesting debate that our coaches will have to decide how they handle. I'm of the opinion he's as good as Jude or Davenport but that is based on a ton of admiration more than any hard fact. I like him at TB as you can't stop us from handing it to him. You can stop us from throwing it to him if you put enough bodies on him.

Coach Mills and Coach Russell have done a fine job all year moving the pieces around the chess board to give us best shot at a Check Mate. I trust whatever they decide to do with Canady. The Turpin vs Bailey debate is another fun one that our talented coaches get to wrestle with in terms of who to give it to and when. Then you have Gist who is like a greased bolt of lightening. T Canady catches everything. Sheldon is awesome too. Man, which bullet do you shoot?
Massey predicts a 35-7 win for Bell Co.
u guys are underestamating knox central they have the best defense in the division....
I honestly don't think Bell Co will be beat this year. I don't know any team that could keep up with them. I think they'll go all the way to state this year.
PANTHER_FAN Wrote:u guys are underestamating knox central they have the best defense in the division....

I don't think that anyone is underestimating them at all. Bell respects Knox especially their defense.
redstorm Wrote:Everyone on here is crazy. Boyle Co. is still the defending STATE CHAMPS. Knox and Bell is only playing for one more week. Boyle maybe the best team in the state, all classes. Until someone proves different

Well if BC wins this week, you just might see things differently after next week.:ChairHit::ChairHit:TongueirateSho

And in the last meeting that defense let Bell Co. score how many points? I think it's already been proven between these two teams at least, who's defense rules. With that being said I look forward to watching this game and pray for the safety of each player on the field.
Bell Co. is not and will not overlook or underestimate Knox. We'll be ready, count on it. The Bobcats look forward to the meeting.
I don't think you can overlook KC. They just arent a factor.

Bell 48
KC 14
Good to see some new posters. Welcome to a fun site where the #1 rule is Bell rules... Just keep that in mind as you post on all topics from the price of gas to the next run on Beany Babies... LOL.

Bell will not overlook Knox. That whole "overlooking opponents" thing is almost always a coaching issue. And I'd bet a sack of new socks to a pair of holy ones that Coach Hilton will come prepared to the hilt. Fueling that fire will be game 1 of this series earlier in the year which is the only game in 2010 that Bell has not dominated from start to finish in KY.

:Thumbs:Coach Hilton and staff will not let the players overlook them either. It will be a great game.
BELL for sure
Don't fool yourself! It will be the winner of Bell Co. vs. Boyle Co. who wins the State Title!

dont think any one can keep up with them? well if im not mistaken it was a good game in b-ville, we dominated Bell in the trenches and i dont see anything different happen this time..
KCPANTHERS Wrote:we dominated Bell in the trenches and i dont see anything different happen this time..

Really?

Who had more rushing yards?

Who had more passing yards?

I am not an expert (although I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night) but usually if you out gain your opponent that typically means you won the war in the trenches?

#56 and #76 are a handful to handle no doubt but I think bell will have a few surprises for them this meeting to keep them guessing. Just set back and watch.

Not saying KC can't beat Bell but Coach Hilton has NEVER lost to them and I don't see it happening now.

Look, I have about had it with people making comparisons to us and blind squirrels. We are blind hogs. Got it?

Hogs are big, mean, and nasty. Squirels are cute and fuzzy. Blind we may be as we find our nuts - but cute and fuzzy? Come on. Have you seen our linemen?:please:

76 and 56 get dirty in the middle while 50 and 54 slop on the edges... Hogs man - not squirels. TongueirateSho

o yea i did see them, after they made a good lick on cory he took like a man and then i saw your boys chasing him down the sideline u may have won the battle at first but we won the WAR.. see ya friday... and if ya want some refreshments come to the bone fire on LOG mountain thursday night..
I tried to make a comparison between Bell and KC....there just isn't one to make.
KC is going down....harder than the first time.
Bell can NOT be beat!!! Maybe next year KC, but not this year.

Ancient saying, "When the pupil is ready the master will appear."

Coach Mills is ready. Dudley will appear across from him Friday night. These two men and the choices they make during this game will influence the outcome as much as the players on the field.

FG or go for it? Pass short or long, run wide or middle, blitz or stay, man or zone... In some games teams are good enough that whatever the coach asks will work. Not this one for either side. For us especially, we must unravel the riddle of scoring on the best defense in KY.

Well said and true. But game 1 was just the Battle of Barbourville (and the district banner of course). The War (and the Region Banner) rests on the outcome of this encounter.

The bond fire sounds great. Be safe and enjoy.

hahaha you have no idea what X's and O's are do ya?? :flush:
No one has dominated Bell in the "trenches" for several years.

That happens to be Bell's trademark......

Now now fb1 we both know neither will blitz or play man. haha

Wayne is well respected in Bell Co. and will be our #2 team starting next year. I sincerely hope KC is the 2011 district, region and state Champs!!

Don't know what game you watched in Bville but it wasn't the Bell and Knox game this season. KC had only one good drive and it was the first one were they scored.
