Uhmm I Told you in My PM i graduated from there, im not a die hard fan for them, I just attend some of there games, and im allowed to my opinion

You have no right to trash talk Russells talent when you went to a 6a school who draws from all over louisville and the county. If you had went to a small school you might have more respect for what russell has done which its apparent you never had any respect for the Russell program to begin with. how would you feel if i start a thread trashing st x.

If someone insults something you know you whine and Cry, and my nephew attends a 1A school who lost in the semis, I still dont see Whats so special about Russell, and thanks Kosar i might just do that, they talk about bell fans, how about Russell Fans HAHA

Well Sir, I believe students choose to attend St.X For its rich tradition,but if you think that, you may be older but you act like a 3 year old, but like I Said theres so many People in the CITY Of louisville, since your 3 im going to have to take this slow, theres many people that live there, and St. X is a great school in preparing you and its rich christian ethics, so many people choose to go there, do you understand? Want me to fix your bottle also?

If you had went to 3a public school you would have more respect for Russell but since you went to one of the biggest schools in the state its pretty obvious your not going to have any respect for a school in a small town.

I think you need to grow up nobody asked for your opinion on if Russell was going to make it to state finals and you're totally off topic. The thread title was what does russell have to do to get back to the finals not if they will get back or not.

GoReddevils - I've been reading this give and take between you and P&F now for 2 pages, and as much as I love my Russell Red Devils, P & F and Ryan P are probably right about this years team. Although I do think we will once again field a good team (7-3, 6-4) unless we receive 2 or 3 really good players in by transfer, we will probably not see the state championship game or semi-state until maybe 2011/2012. If this years squad really dedicates themselves to the weight room and to their teammates and coaches, then we could even get past the 2nd round. I make this opinion based on the roster that is left from the past 2 years and who we have coming back. Still very very "light" in the trenches and I just don't see where that added 'bulk' and TALENT is coming from. But i do hope I'm wrong.

For one thing p &F comes in calling Russell Independent Russell County and seems to think he knows it all. If these kids want to get to the finals they will put in the work in the weight room and get conditioned simple as that. But to say a team won't make it over a school year away is crazy.

I think you are all nutty. Russell is going through a down cycle just like all highschool programs do. Vertimax,p90x,steroids,or even spinach is not the answer. As a matter of fact I'm already sick of this vertimax thing.....I had a 42" vertical in highschool and I didn't do any of that crap!! Russell will be Russell again before you know it. Stop letting Ryan Parker terrorize you all into panic. Where is the voice of reason on here? Where is F-ball when you need him? Raceland will be more down than they've been in a while next year.vI'm not scared...it will get better.

I havent posted in a while and what a wonderful way to come back then to come to this forum. Im still sticking with my story, Russell in 2010 won't field a championship caliber team, MAYBE a regional team, but no state team, now goredevils a team doesnt become this over night, it takes luck and skill, so I dont see Russell Winning a championship in 2010, or 2011.

Yes I Agree, I didnt mean to insult Russell I was just Stating on why they wont make it to the championship, and GoreDevils began to insult me on how I went to a 6A School, I also was in the Greenup thread and I noticed how he was bashing them personally and athletically and when I just state on why Russell wont make it to the championship Im Automatically hated by him, but back to my opinion, Russell has another down year.

Back in the 80's we never had any of that special workout equipment. Its nice but not mandatory. I built my strength in my basement and at the field house and that was plenty enough for me and our team back then. If I couldnt get to a gym I did push ups in any way possible.
