Dawg days! Wrote:You guys give me a friggin break! There is NO WAY that McCreary Co. comes to Louisa and even stays close to LC....The only teams that the MC has beat are the ones with a losing record or a smaller school. They have did nothing against against good teams.
GET OFF THE TRACKS!!!!! LC WINS THIS ONE BIG!
I'm taking MCC in the upset of the week. And speaking of MCC not playing many quality teams, what about LC's schedule. It was not tough at all. MCC played more quality teams than LC did IMO.

I agree! I know that i kind threw in the possibilty of McCreary giving Bell a good game which they didn't but you have to come to the realization that Bell Co. is on a totally different level than all the other EKY teams! So with that said yes i would have to go with McCreary possibly beating Lawrence Co.

I'm taking LC and I think they try to make a point with district 7. If I'm right I see this being a very long night for MC and LC winning big if I'm wrong LC gets by and has an even tougher time next week.
11-05-2009, 12:33 PM
yea it could go eaither way i cant wait to see......

I think LC is looking at this as a statement game. Come out play hard and handle them easily if possible and serve a statement that district 7 may be better and may even win the entire thing but LC isn't going to go down without a fight.

Oh yea, that 1a school is a real powerhouse!
Ya know maybe LC didn't play the strongest
schudule in the state but remember. This is
a program that has won three games in three
years, held winless last year and a coaching
staff in their second year.

Bell plays in dist. 7 so of course I'm pulling for those district teams. That being said, LC wins rather easily 42-13.

I'm pulling for all of the dist. 7 teams also. Heres to hoping they run the table in the first round. Good luck to everyone. Hope everyone stays healthy. :glassjoe:

0 to 0 is as close as MC gets in this one. LC will whoop in on this district 7 team.
11-05-2009, 05:54 PM
mc by 7.........lc goes home sooner than expected
11-05-2009, 06:28 PM
With mc coaches saying they lost 7 starters it would be difficult to play any team and maintain a cohesive game plan.

A one seed beating a four isn't really that much of a statement, is it? I also pick LC to win handily. Round 2 and 3, now that would be a bit more of a statement.
11-05-2009, 09:14 PM
If they can even beat MC it would be a statement to some from District 7. I agree it shouldn't be but until LC beats a common opponent as other district 7 teams they aren't worthy.

Just wait and see, this team loves to show the critics out there what they are really about.

The game plan is solid and those that has taken the places of the starters have had some quality playing time. What hurts is the depth but we are in good enough condition to go ironman football with 11 players if needed but luckily we still have about 18 players that can play effectively! Ok Raiders, time to pack your lunches, punch your time cards and go to Work!irateSho

I hope 10,000 show up, after the overhead expenses of LC the gate gets split down the middle and we are in need of some of few things!:thanks:

One thing is for certain, one of these teams will win and one of them will lose. No matter who loses this game it will not take away from what either has accomplished this year. LC has went 10-0 and got some of that ole tradition and swagger back in to their program. MC has had their 1st winning season and has beat a team or 2 for the 1st time in school history. The only way a future MC team can top this years record is to run the non-conference table and win 2 district games. That is a tall order but I have already heard the younger player talking about how hard they have to work in order to do this. It definately makes a coach smile! I tell you what I am wanting more than anything, a good clean hard hitting injury free competitive WAR! Man I love high school football under those Friday Night Lights!irateSho

If it is true that MCC is without two linemen, this one will come to a halt before three quarters are over.
Watts and Roark are nice players, but without some strength at the line for the Raiders, LC should dominate this game. With a healthy offensive line, Pack, West, James and Bentley should run from Louisa to Lexington and back if MCC is weakened at the line by injuries/suspensions.
The reason I use the word should is because it is high school athletics and anything can happen.
Bulldogs 36
Raiders 14
