So I do want to say, don't let a few speak for the majority. Corbin is a football town. They back their team and not a finer place to go watch a game on a Friday night locally. Lots of great people in Corbin who are just good down to earth fans. So always keep in mind one opinion is just that, just 1 person. Not everyone. I know the boys in red put in hard work just like the other top teams in 4A and I would most definitely love to see them get a title. Salmons has came in and made an immediate impact and Corbin has alot of youth coming up at a good time. I do want to give Tilghman there credit because the game itself like I said was a very good ball game. Tilghman was as good as advertised. I would like to have seen Tilghman and Boyle play. But take nothing away from the game this weekend. Should be a dandy as both teams will get to make their case for the best in 4A. Couple of days to go.

Speaking of Salmons, not sure if anyone has mentioned his son going down in the 1st half as being a big factor, but the defense did not seem to be nearly as good after he was injured.  Hopefully that won't affect him going forward.
yeah I know it hasn't been talked about much but he from what I've heard broke his collarbone. Thankfully it was not on his throwing arm as I expect there is a strong possibility that he is Corbin's next QB. but I will say there is several players on next years team that have played the QB position too. I will be curious to watch the incoming freshman QB Brett Estep as he just led his 8th grade team to a State Championship and is ice cold in the pocket and very similar to a young Elam.
