Jackson City School was coached by Kyle Lively the year they lost to Hazard in the regional finals. I suppose it is possible that Mr. Hoskins contributed, but he was not the head coach. Mr. Lively introduced a withering press that nullified most team's height advantage. Hazard, which had been beaten earlier in the season by JC, learned their lesson and countered with their depth to win the regional final.
