I hope that the 14th Region puts a good crew on this game. With so much hype on this game, it could get crazy!!!! I hope that nothing happens but a well played game that everyone is anticipating!!!!

Last year, before they played, seems like 360 and I was the only ones that thought Perry was better. We all know what happened, Perry took 3/4, and ended Knotts season. Knotts a flasher team, and can put up a lot of points, but that don't mean ther the better team. The teams are complete opposites. Knott has better guard play(Stew, Tate, Davis), while Perry really only has one guard. While Perry has the better bigs(Mullins, Cornett, Salyers)
Last year Perry showed they could slow and at times stop Tate/Stew. But that's last year and Amis and Maggard are gone. Going into the game I'd rank Knott ahead of Perry because they've beat better teams, granted Perry's not been blown out and has played with or should of beat some good teams. Perrys been playing well of late and is tough to beat at home, ask Christian Co. If they play like they did against CC, Perry by double digits, but its doubltful they'll play that good.
I'll take Perry in a game thats close the whole way. PCC hits there foul shots and pulls away at the end
Perry 62
Knott 54

I don't think Hatcher will let the score be in the 60's. To beat knott he will want to limit their prossessions. Knott like so jack it up and put up the points. Perry will have be smart.
I'm taking Perry
Perry- 48
Knott-45

Ah Knott don't play much defense, Perry will break the press, and get several easy buckets.

I'm predicting it won't happen Friday night, snow storm alert posted for early Friday, they should move it to Thursday if they want to play it, don't the girls also play that night at Perry, could be a great double header, before we all get snowed in.

Is don hall and tommy hutton the refs for this one? if so knott central may need to just stay home.. you know they won't let pcc lose at home.. better stay home and not risk the weather
01-27-2010, 12:40 PM
I dont see Hall and Hutton being refs in this game. These two have not ref a Perry Game since Big Al left.
01-27-2010, 01:09 PM
Maybe we'll have both a PCC and a KCC pocket ref for this game and they can fight with each other over calls while the kids play. Oh please.... everybody talks about the other team having a ref in their corner. Perry has one, Knott has one, Hazard has one... etc etc etc etc. I've yet to see a team win without that pocket ref, at least according to the posts on here. I guess it all balances itself out in the end.

I stayed home sick today and one of my friends texted me and said that they reschelduled the game for 7 tommorrow. Dont forget the Blackout.

Noble's been shooting the lights out past few games. Averaging 20+ a game here lately.Im gonna up my prediction to PCC by 7. Good Luck to both teams and let this game be one to remember.

kcc will be there to beat the commodores tonight! go pats...i say 65-53 kcc
01-28-2010, 11:25 AM
^ KCC by double digits @ Perry? It's doubtful they'll come out with a W, let alone by that margin. You don't watch much basketball do ya.

What time does this game start tonight since they have changed the date? Will they play before or after the girls?
01-28-2010, 01:44 PM
Girls play first, boys game starts around 8.
01-28-2010, 01:45 PM
They play after the girls. Perry girls play Leslie girls at 6. With PCC/Knott following.
Tip off probably around 8.
