Not sure what your referring too... Certain kids get mighty uncomfortable when the 6am intensity picks up.. My guess is this young man.. figured out nothing is gonna be given to him... and is chasing attention from other places... Kid rode the Bench a lot last year the games I seen he played mop up time.

Not that this deserves a response but those two seasons aren’t comparable despite Pikeville falling way short of expectations. Valley isn’t beating Raceland, GRC, or Hazard and they wouldn’t dare to even play Ironton. They will however get a taste of Belfry next year. That’ll be fun. Pikeville did whatever they wanted against Martin Co preseason and I think Valley started basketball season after playing Martin Co in playoffs. I wish Valley would play Pikeville.

Since SV has been in existence, the two teams have scheduled sporadically through the years with Pikeville, almost sure, coming out on top every game.

Shelby Valley has so far never beaten Pikeville, and before that Virgie never was able to get a win, In the entire history of the school, and that's a long time, and they were district opponents so that played every year. 1989 was widely considered to be the best team they ever had, and they really thought that was their year to beat Pikeville and maybe even have a shot at state, The game was played at Virgie in the pouring rain and flooding, Pikeville wanted to reschedule but Virgie would have none of it, they said they aren't getting out of here that easy, So Pikeville played in ankle deep water. the result....Pikeville won by about 40 as I recall.

This is a ridiculous take. Why would brown transfer after getting some good minutes on a competing pikeville team just to go to a valley team that is going to continue to struggle?

There simply isn’t any comparison between the two.  Pikeville and SV are on different planets when it comes to football.

Historically sure. I agree. However, as far as how THIS season went. Not a lot of difference between the two.

What????    You do realize who Pikeville lost too…..correct?  You saw their schedule….right??    To even mention the two in the same sentence, paragraph or short story is completely laughable.   And not trying to disrespect Valley…..it’s just the plain truth.   That game would have been a bloodbath…..its just that simple.

Pikeville would have running clocked them towards the end of the 2nd quarter.
