GUTS no good for nothing Whitley team beating and holding the mighty Bell to 7,wow
Both teams have to like and dislike parts of the First Half

Harlan County:
+ Getting big plays and have consistently hurt Belfry with the reverse
+ Controlled the tempo
- Struggling to move the ball with their power game

Belfry
+ Moved the ball well and shut down the HC interior run game
+ Are a TD away from the lead and get the ball to start the 2nd Half
- First time in a long time that Belfry was the fatigued team at the Half...

coach Mickey thinks its just because of the heat, but its the same heat that HC is playing with so they need to suck it up..

The D has been on the field a lot and chasing some big plays. HC seems to be controlling the tempo and keeping the D on the field.

The converted drive when HC was pinned at their 2 and subsequent kick recovery is the catalyst there. HC basically doubled down on the Belfry defense while the HC defense got twice the rest.

Pirates need to catch their breath and put together a nice drive to start the 2nd Half to turn the tables and at the very least start the field position battle on the right foot

I like the way HC is using different sets and varying their offense. That will serve them well come November.
Let's Go Pirates. Come out the second half and play Belfry Football!
Belfry
Warren 1/4 55 yards, TD 5 car, 5 yds FUMBLE

Hatfield 6 carries, 34 yards
Johnson 2 carries, 35 yards
18 plays, 133 Total yards
78 rushing

Bailey 4/5 76 yards TD 3 car, -4 yds
Whitehead 6 carries, 14 yards
Long 9 carries, 39 yards, 1 rec, 15 yards TD
Wilson 2 carries, 56 yds, TD 2 rec, 61 yds
25 plays 181 total yards
105 of those rushing
5 penalties, 50 yards
Surprising note is Belfry has a total of 3 carries by the HB's.. no carries by Trenity Carr
Belfry to receive

Squib kicked lateraled to Willis, down to the B28, 1st and 10
Johnson 2nd man thru and Bailey stops him after 12, 1st and 10
Ball at B40
Hatfield for 2, 2nd and 8
Johnson 2nd man thru and he takes it to the house

58 YARDS TOUCHDOWN BELFRY
JJ to the House!! Let's see if the D has made the correct adjustments.
Belfry stops penetration and gets it to the HB and reaps the rewards with 70 yards for Johnson on 2 carries

10:30 in 3rd
Belfry 14
HC 12
