Tim Couch is a solid #1 so Zach Lewis has to be mentioned. He broke about all of his high school records.
1.Tim Couch- Leslie County (1991-1995)
2.Scott Russell- Evarts (1988-1991)
3.Al Holland Jr.- Perry County Central (2000-2003)
4.Shawn Robbins- Bell County (2001-2004)
5.Marty Reagan- Rockcastle County (1999-2002)
Jason Leger- Rockcastle County (2000-2003)
*If Aaron Watts from McCreary Central continues to be all around prolific on the gridiron, in a few years Mr. Watts will join that elite list in my strong opinion

Keith Woolum was probably the best Defensive Linemen to come out of Eastern Kentucky. Keith played for MC Napier. He as an animal 6'4-270 with a 4.7 40. 400 bench. Could of signed with Marshall but decided to go to the coal mines instead.

BJ Bryant was tough also when South Floyd High had some good teams. He graduated in 00' or 01'. He had some crazy stats and had several offers from bigger schools. BJ is no longer w/us by the way....god bless!

Might as well go ahead and throw Paul Hornung and Phil Simms on there while you are at it... those mountains sure have lost a lot of height apparently

I remember Floyd Branham and David Kelley from the 98 MBoro team.. Branham was a beast and Kelley is still in the National Record Books for punt returns for touchdowns in a career.
