He has outplayed Zollo constantly this spring on their AAU team. He is a much better prospect than Zollo.

Knipp and Zollo don't even play on the same AAU team, so you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Knipp plays with DS All Stars and Zollo plays with Indiana Elite.
As far as being a bigger prospect than Zollo?? :lmao:

Wrong Information. As stated in the next post, they don't play on the same team. Now Robbie Stenzel plays on the DS team with Knipp, he is from GRC.

As I stated before, Timmy Knipp would not even start at GRC. Would be playing behind Zollo, Rogers, and Purvis.
Don't get me wrong Timmy Knipp is a very good player, just not on the same level as Vinny Zollo. Timmy will go on to the next level and have a good career.
What schools are recuiting him?

Well said. He would come off the bench if he were at GRC. No way he starts over Rogers, Purvis, or Zollo...and he would fight for time with Daniels.
As far as schools recruiting him, he isn't much of a prospect when it comes to the D1 level. His lack of strength and no true position really hurts his recruitment.

I have seen GRC play 8-9 times last season and probably seen Elliott play 13-14 times. Knipp would start on any team in the state and in my opinion is more talented than anyone on GRC's team.

I disagree, Knipp would not start for GRC. He is not more talented than Zollo. On most other teams yes he would start, but GRC is loaded with big men, and all in the same grade as Timmy.

The only way Knipp would start for GRC is if Stenzel ran the point. He wouldn't start at the 3 over Rogers and wouldn't start at the 4 over Purvis.
There's a reason Zollo and Purvis already have D1 offers and Knipp doesn't.

Stenzel is capble of running the point if that is the only way knipp would start, he might have to run the point next year any way.

Rogers will play the 5 spot, Purvis and Zollo the 3 and 4 spot. Stenzel will be the 2 guard. Only position open is PG. Don't see Timmy Knipp playing the PG position.

Regardless, Knipp wouldn't start at GRC.

Timmy would start at any school in KY.

It doesn't matter if Timmy would start at GRC because he is NOT going to school there... He WILL be at Elliott next year.

Most schools yes, but not all and GRC is one of them.

He wouldn't start at Holmes, GRC, or Scott Co.

I don't think anyone in the nation other than Holme's starting 5 could start for Holmes.

Same as nobody in the nation would start over your idol Elisha Justice...right?

On my team, any Holmes player would be given a chance to earn a starting spot, all positions they played would be a clear slate. If it were your team, any SV player would be told to sit on the bench.

Who would you start him over? Have you even seen GRC play?

First of all let me say this, Timmy Knipp will be at Elliott County next season.
Now as far as the debate about whether he would start at GRC or not, no doubt about it he would. He, along with George Fant and Robbie Stenzel, are the best 3 players in the class of 2011 and are/will be the most highly recruited. He is better than all 3 of the GRC big men. Knipp, along with the other two players mentioned have been the most consistent part of the state's best aau team and one that is going to make a lot of noise nation wide in July.
Now, for those of you who disagree with me, tell me what the other 3 big guys for Clark Co do better than Knipp? Knipp is as tall or taller than all 3, he is more athletic than all 3, shoots is better than all 3, and handles it better than all 3. Plus, he is probably the best shot blocker in the state next season.
On the flip side, intenisty from Knipp sometimes lacks. At times, you will get more intensity out of the big guys at GRC than Knipp. But that is something Knipp is improving on daily, and this summer has already made drastic steps towards playing hard every possesion.
Botton line for me, Knipp is at worst the second best player in the class of 2011(if anyone is better it is George Fant) and would not only start for GRC next season, but any team in the state of Kentucky.

Have I ever said Justice or anyone else wouldn't start for Holmes? I just don't think Knipp would start for them because of his position...maybe you should look at it from that perspective instead of assuming things.
Holmes doesn't need another 3/4 type player, which is why he wouldn't start. Look at Holmes starting lineup...where would Knipp fit in?
1 6'0 Pierre Mayfield
2 6'5 Ricardo Johnson
3 6'5 Jeremiah Johnson
4 6'6 Kevon Rice
5 6'8 Elijah Pittman
Unless Knipp can run the point, he wouldn't start. On the other hand...a player like Justice, Chad Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Remy Abell, Robbie Stenzel, Josh Sewell, Josh Forrest, or Ge'Lawn Guyn (to name a few) WOULD start for Holmes because they have the ability to run the point, which is going to be Holmes weakest spot next year from an offensive stand point. Just because a kid is really good, doesn't mean he'd automatically come in and start for a talented team...especially when they already have someone just as good or better than him starting now.
See Brandon Housely at Holmes this past season...he would have started ANYWHERE in nky and at a lot of schools around the state, but came off the bench at Holmes...why? Because they already had a solid 2 man in Dom Johnson when he came in.

Yeah I caught the shalacking Elliott gave them at the Russell showcase does that count?
If I recall correctly GRC didn't have anybody that could handle him.

Knipp is 6'7 and dunked over a 6'4 kid (Stenzel) that didn't even get around his man until Knipp was in the air...How about we find the TWO videos where Elijah Pittman dunked over Knipp TWICE during the state semi's?

Knipp struggles when he goes against someone his size with athleticism.
