Very nice looking field.
I like it better having the fans on the same side.

Lewis Co. has one of the finest facilties around. The surface could use a little work but has plenty of parking plenty and seating for the visiting fans. You can see from any place there.I am also partial to Greenup and Russell's field as well.

Could someone post a pic of JC's stadium if they can find one? I'd love to see what it's like before Friday.

Just didn't quite understand that jibberish you were trying to pass off as the english language.

Lewis County has a very nice facility. Hopefully they can start getting some wins and pack the place.

Was pikevilles turf the first in the mountains?

JC's new stadium is really nice. They still have to mark the track if I'm not mistaken.

The track is another thing I dont like with JC, I don't like that or the parking. I mean it's a great place and I would put it ahead of Belfry on most things besides that. I love the chairback seats on the home side.

Yes... if I am not mistaken Pikeville was the first high school to get turf in the state.

If...Then Wrote:Does Hazard have a Visitor stand?
That is a excellent question.I have asked they same thing now for a couple of months unless I overlooked it there has been no answer.
If they do not I bet they are some interesting conversations on the home side bleachers.

Not first in the state. Lex. Cath was first in the state I believe, like 1999.

The visitor stands are on the left side of the grandstands and home side is on the right....but a lot of people roam the track.
Since those pics there is a fence surrounding the field.
Visitor on the left...home on the right and its all separated by a large hand rail and steps.
The second pic is a view from the visitor's stands...and as far as i know there have never been any confrontations in the stands.--least not in the last 6 years that i know of.

Those are nice pics Old Dawg. I have to agree, I don't remember any trouble in the stands. Most of the students tailgate at one end of the field, a lot of the Bulldog faithful tailgate on the opposite side of the field and then you have some dedicated Dawg fans who stand on the track surrounding the field.

I walk up and down the track to see the action. The only time i sit in the stands is when my girlfriends go to the game with me.

The best thing about CAM Stadium is how close the stands are to the field. Alot of other high school stadiums have tracks and it takes away from the game imo!.

One stadium everyone is forgetting is Pikeville's Hambley Athletic Complex... state of the art!
11-06-2008, 09:35 PM
The filed at JC has unlimited parking, all you have to do is park in the plaza and walk through the gate on that end.
The two best I have been too are JC and Belfry. Not only are they state of the art facuilites, but both have a certain air and excitment about them. JC pre-game is just awesome. Talk about a place to be Friday night, come to Eagleville and enjoy the show!
