Can Hazard play with Johnson Central?
#61
bac2369 Wrote:He is actually 27 to be exact. So what does the age have to do with anything? All he is saying that Hazard can play with these big teams and win if they come to play. Thats his opinion and no one elses. I myself believe Hazard can play with JC but i dont know if its going to get them a win. But Hazard will not back down and will not give up until the game is over.
Hmmm.

I can't decipher any of that.

Everything about that statement is a joke. The JC 7th and 8th is coached by Eddie Blair who is not Jim Matney. Also, this is high school football not middle school. As for JC being overrated....Hazard has everyone back this year and should be killing people but aren't.....I think Raceland would give them a good game and I definately don't see but maybe one team on the JC schedule that they could beat and that being Montgomery Co. No way they are in a game with half of the teams the Eagles have played. Also, I hate to burst your bubble but Bell Co., Belfry, Ashland and Russell are better than both of your top two teams. You can not compare middle school to varsity, and you can't compare JC to Perry Central...they are just two different leagues.

Yet, for the most Johnson Central has dominated just about every team they have played. Not really understanding where you get the logic for much of what you say.

I cant help but believe that from the way your posts sound you are very young. Is that the case?

I am 27, i play on Hazard 97 team that went 10-0. If i remember right Paintsville beat Johnson Centrsal that year by 2 or 3 TDS, We beat Paintsville that year by 4 or 5 TDS. It is still the same school. But now it is a 5A, not a 3A or 4A like they was back then.

Obviously we cant blame it all on age then, can we? Rules that out.

Oh well, just another "Hmmmmm", I guess.

I really believe Hazard is due for a Big Time game. I dont think JC has seen anyone with Greg Adam's speed. Tyler Olinger will be the best Quaterback JC has faced. Guess what, he will be almost 100% against you JC. They have a new guy that will be eligible that runs a 4.4 and is tough as nails that will be playing in the secondary for the first time this year he is eligible. Micheal Campbell and Josh Kidd will be back. I think JC will bite off more than can chew in this one. Good luck Dawgs and break it off in them. :flame:

I don't remember Paintsville playing Hazard in 97, Hazard wasn't in the district until '99 when they had a running back named Shamar Beaty who was a monster and that year they won by 5 TD's at Hazard.

Every year there is some sort of a high profile QB that comes out of Hazard. Wonder why none of them seem to be able to make it at the next level?

Some of you Hazard folks need to take a drive out of the "holler" and see the rest of the world. It's a great big'en.

The first game of the year Hazard had the big head against Green County and it showed.. Hazard is not Breathitt Co. They can pass better than breathitt co, and run the ball almost as better. Johnson Central will be looking over Hazard because they are a 1 A.

Paintsville was in Hazard district, so was Pikeville.

He said the 97 Hazard team played Paintsville, I know the 99 team did because I was on that team and I was also on the teams that beat Hazard 5 times in a row over a 3yr span when they had Sizemore who is a much better QB than the Olinger kid and had I guess his older brother at WR.

The Johnson County hollers will be a nice change of pace for them. Also, here is an article with reference to a Hazard player that made it big on the next level...for people who don't follow football much...

Paintsville was in the district with Raceland, Berea, Nicholas Co., Bath Co. and crew. They did play Hazard in 96 in the Big Sandy Bowl though.

And all of this means what?

Mr.Kimball Wrote:And all of this means what?

It means nothing. Someone posted about the district team in 99 that beat paintsville by 4 or 5 tds and i can't remember hazard playing them in 97. So i just posted the schedule with results. I believe we need to get back on the topic of this thread and not worry about the past.

I have a question. How many QB's has Johnson Central put into a D-1 College.

You didn't say quarterback at the next level. You didn't specify a position at the next level. Point is Hazard has had big-time D-1 athletes in the past.

Yeah you did. You said none of their high profile QBs ever made it at the next level. I proved you wrong with the link I provided. Their high profile QB Jon Olinger made it BIG at the next level.

None that i know of. But i am not saying they don't have any.

Jon wasn't a QB, he was a WR.
