Raceland @ Ashland 8-18 predictions
#61
Rams got the squib kick at their own 47 had a 3 and out. Ashland took over at there 22 drove down the field nice mix of pass and runs score 7-0 Tomcats.

Ashland with a huge goal line stand against the Rams
#62
The Rams are moving the ball well
#63
Eeesh. Game going like I originally thought it would.
#64
Raceland looks slow to me. Kinda look like old Raceland teams with big thick thighs that don’t move very well

What a throw by Lundy

Yes it was

7-7 Rams score after Lundy drops a dime to the 1 to Brody Austin. Wallace scores from 1 yard out.
#68
Nice play their by the Rams and Lundy on 3rd and 18 score on the next play to make it tied at 7.

7-7 2nd quarter

Rams definitely have had the field position don’t kick to Jennings he takes it too the house.

14-7 Tomcats

Ashland kickoffs are AWFUL!!!!
#71
Very YOUNG coverage on the KR. Bit hard on a pitifully ran fake reverse.

Ashland 14 Raceland 13 2:35 2nd quarter

Lindy with a hell of a run for a score PAT no good 14-13 Tomcats. Ashland’s D has been on the field almost the entire first half minus their one drive.

Ashland 55 yard TD pass to Houston. Raceland can not cover Houston with only 1 player. 21-13 Tomcats
#74
Typical for the Rams. We gotta earn everything we get and then give away two big plays for scores. We got problems in the secondary and we got problems playing with out safeties at the end of a half
#75
21-13 halftime. Tomcats will receive the 2nd half kick. Lundy heck of a QB you have to get pressure on him. When he has time to survey the field he will pick a defense apart.
#76
Gotta say. Lundy has looked better tonight than I have ever seen him. Going through progressions against the zone. Gotta clean some things up, we are fine.

Ashland’s D really not playing awful a couple of personal fouls helped sustain both of Raceland’s drives. Rams D if Ashland can get their offense some possessions in my opinion doesn’t have the speed to stop the Tomcats. Raceland’s D is going to have to make a play or 2 and hope the Tomcats make some mistakes.

Raceland onside kick and recover there’s a play for sure

Raceland ( LUNDY) is just a great decision maker and has a lot of talent to go along with it. Raceland at the 3 TD Rams. And 2 point conversion is good 21 all
#78
Raceland touchdown. Two point conversation good. Tied at 21 3rd quarter

Ashland fumble at the 1 has them in a third and goal at the 6. End of 3 and this is only Ashland’s 4th possession of the game.

TD Ashland 28-21

Ashland D has hurt themselves with penalties at the worst times

Tomcats have the Rams in a 4th and 10 make a PLAY!!!

Ashland D has made a few plays the last 2 Ram possessions

Helluva game. Great atmosphere…made it weird with the back and forth bc of the lights. But all in all it was a good night of football. Both teams have a lot to do to compete with the top of their respective classes. JC quite a bit ahead of Ashland and Pikeville quite a bit ahead of Raceland as I see it right now. But as for this game in itself, couldn’t ask for much more. Ashland needs to use their speed. Idk why Chad ever went away from the deep ball to the Houston kid. Jennings ran hard and so did Strader. I was impressed with 34, MLB for Ashland. Great tackler. Kids probably a great wrestler.

As for Raceland. Loooooooot of work to do upfront and on special teams. But that’s the best our passing game has looked in a long time. Lundy did a phenomenal job tonight and Parker Ison was someone that I was not expecting to see step up in the way that he did. Kid looked great. Brody Austin looked good as well. Those two surprises me tonight. I think we need some packages with Wallace at H and Heighton at the F. Those two need to be able to pound more imo and that would help our line out while they are developing.

Congrats to Ashland. Great game. On to the next one.
