Sc Bell co. game On a slant slone falls on his face and lies there.. and i think moore works harder off season than him also...so idk guess we will just see

03-02-2008, 09:52 PM

03-10-2008, 11:59 AM

This year the cardinals are looking about the same as last year, and im hoping my son benefits the team, as he is supposed to start linebacker on defense.
03-29-2008, 02:24 PM
i think they will do alright...they have a few spots to replace..but everyone has been working out and getting alot stronger...so i think they will be ready come fall..

jus curious on what people thought about on the upcoming season for the cards i no one thing this will be one of the strongest teams to ever come through the system...coach hagar has everyone working hard this offseason

The new playoff format should be a welcome change in Inez...now at least they have the chance to play Belfry in Round 3 instead of Round 2. The Cards' will need to have their best team of all time, because Belfry should be that good this year.

yes this will benifit sheldon clark yes ......but even tho schs loses so many key players and belfry so few(only two that i can think of off the top of my head, may and the lineman)....but i honestly think schs can compete they have been working hard in the off season and there already great coach got more excperince ...but to do this some of there younger players are goin to have to play crutial roles in there sucsess..but i think they are goin to step in nicely

This will be the strongest and hardest working team to ever come through scheldon clark and prolly gonna be one of the best teams in the state at the end of the season. if not the best...

What did they do over the offseason? Please pass that information on to the rest of us.
Sheldon Clark is a good team but best team in the state come on. They will be lucky to win their district rightfully so against one of the best teams in Class 3A in Belfry.

And what they did during the off season was they got almost every player on the team in the weight room and that is going to make them a much faster and stronger team than in the past!

Yes, this will be one of the strongest teams SC has ever had. I have a lot more expectations for SC in the 2 seasons following this one. The underclassmen will have this season to prove themselves. Coach Hager has to be excited about the young talent that is coming up.

Yes, Sheldon Clark is going to be deadly for the next 2 seasons following this one... I mean they are only losing 7 seniors and they have 20 juniors and I believe 25 sophomores... most of the juniors and sophomores are the big playmakers for the Cardinals.

Because until they prove they can eliminate Belfry in the playoffs that has to be where their expectations lie.

The young kids are going to have to step up because there is alot of talent but they face a true test early on as they have to play at Perry Central, Fairland, Ohio and East Ridge in the first four weeks on the road. Coach Hager has been rumored to be opening things up quite a bit this season but with Kelly, Matt Slone, Avery Ray and a couple more SC should be able to run the ball again well because the o - line is much improved and doesn't whine like that group did last year. Dustin Meade will be one of the top linebackers in the mountains this season so I expect a second place finish in the district and make a nice run in the playoffs. Shoulod be aqnother good year for Hager and company. Oh could someone please post some phots of the work being done on The Rock:relaxing: :****happe

How does Sheldon Clark manage to get and keep such great coaches. Jim Matney was there for years and may be one of the top five coaches in the state and now Hagar has the cards in the playoff picture every year. There must be something special in Inez

Yea Belfry is the biggest obstical in SC's way they will have to prove thereselves and compete with the boys from Pond Creek but until then we have to look on improving every week and be ready for when our time comes.
