IMO Valley started out great this season but when it came down to it they were very unimpressive. Every game in the regional they came out flat and not ready to play and if the 15th had been any stronger then they would have got handled fairly easily. Throw them in with the 13th or 14th and they would not have made it out of region. A great team with great talent who got to big for themselves is what I saw this season. Good Luck to them next year and in future seasons, hopefully I will get to write a few stories on them when I get my degree. And hopefully it will be a writing saying they are playing on saturday in the state tournament.

No where near you all. I just think Valley fans are a joke and don't realize you aren't that good compared to other teams around the state.

Okay, so I've watched this board and read all the comments during the tournament and have to say that your comment is rude! I don't know where you are from, really don't care, but calling the Valley fans a joke just isn't right. We support our team just like every other city does, whether that team is good or bad. Valley IS the 15th Region Champs! People think that the 15th is the weakest region, so be it. Thats your opinion, but we are VERY proud of what our boys and girls have accomplished, no matter how "weak" they may be. I know at this point that we can't compete with the bigger schools around the state, but maybe one day. If not, we are still proud of our young kids and all that they have accomplished. Don't down the fans just because you don't care for Valley!

Well I know for a fact they played Warren Central, who very easily could have been in the state championship game, to 3 points. So no matter what you think they did play with one of the top teams in the state. They had a bad game at the state tournament, but we will see what happens when all those freshmen are seniors.

SV played uninspired. They really lack strong leadership on the floor. Great young talent, just no leadership. The boys looked lost during the game. Still the team to beat in the 15th, however to get to the second round of State, they need a few more pieces.
