Danville @ Corbin 9-11-15
#61
I can see this game being much closer that people think.
Danville has some very good wr's who have speed and good hands. Corbin has a good running game and a very good defensive line that can drive qb's crazy.
if corbin can slow the passing game down they should win pretty easily but if they dont this will be a knock down drag out brawl.
Corbin 24
Danville 10

I think so too. Mayfield is always tough, but Corbin should win.

I would say Boyle is better than mayfield but I think they are they only team in 3A I would pick over mayfield. As of right now.

Wow!!! Mayfield fought for there life last year against little old Williamsburg. And now they are the second best team in 3A unbelievable!!!! Confusederiously: :igiveup::igiveup:

I said Corbin needs to win over Mayfield to prove they are in the elite in 3a. To me if they lose to Mayfield I don't like there title chances as Boyle County is probably alittle better than Mayfield. Maybe even Belfry. I never did say I think Corbin would beat Mayfield. I think Mayfield beats Corbin, and also think Southwestern beats Corbin. As far as the Danville game I think its close to a push, but give Corbin the edge, but not by much.

if Corbin soundly defeats Danville they'll give Southwestern and Mayfield all they want.

Williamsburg had some fluke ESPN highlight catches, and Mayfield admittedly didn't look that good and still won. Whats hard to comprehend. Williamsburg got better from 1 year to the next by returning a lot of starters. Mayfield is better than last year. You had a sophomore heavy team. Most of your linebackers, QB,DB, and RB was sophmores and first year starters. Now they are Juniors. Most recievers was Juniors last year, and are Seniors now. The only concern is the middle of the O line as they are young there, but as far as skill positions could not be set better. 55 sometimes makes you think he is full of it, but when he said they are fast, and deep he wasn't kidding. Not many playing both ways this year which is first time ive seen it. They switch receivers play to play cause they are deep.

Williamsburg didn't get lucky. they were better in 2014 because Skyler Griffith played.

Ok still got beat by a team having an off game. Why diminish someones accomplishments. You do know the KHSAA isn't goint to take Mayfields trophy just because yall complain, and say Williamsburg looked better. 55 is guarding it.

That's right. All trolling also should be taken to the Belfry threads.

Corbin 35 to 21
#77
Corbin with a late FG to pull this one out by a score of 24-21.
#78
Corbin wins big. :pondering:

Unless Danville is a 3 td better team than Corbin they will not win at Corbin. Corbin home field advantage is worth 2 td's easy. Lots of tradition and the stands will be packed!! Corbin wins this one.

As the weather forecast for Friday night this game is looking more and more of a big advantage for Corbin. Rain muddy feild will slow down Danville's pass game. As we know Corbin can run and run they will.

Corbin in a a close game.

The Redhounds are starting to get in the "meat" of their schedule. These next three games will tell us if Corbin is a pretender or a contender. I think Haddix has a contender and the Redhounds will prove it, with a decisive victory over Danville. Corbin wins 28-14.
