I'll try to help if I can. First, what is your prop to pad height? Never mind..........go to Bassboatcentral.com and they can answer any ? you have. Most have already been answered. Great bunch of people that know alot about boats and setups.

i would have to say lake cumberland
#65
Laurel Lake is nice.
#66
Also is Rough River Lake
#67
It's hard not to catch fish at the Cumberland River. It's probably my personal favorite. But other than that I've only fished on Cave Run twice, Dewey, Red River Gorge, and Lake Cumberland.
#68
East Ky, would have to be Yatesville and Dewey is coming on again. Don't fish here much though.

I love Cave Run. Greenbo Lake isn't bad either. You can't forget about Fish Trap either though.Smile

dewey is a very nice lake... alot of shallow weed beds.... i fish it all the time.... caught some good fish out of it

I figured if the Casino passes, there will be one at Lake Cumberland. Which would draw alot of fishermen and vacations there. Casinos would help the lakes more than anyone since Casinos gotta be on water around here.

I spelled Paintsville Wrong.lol
#83
Dewey Lake or Lake Cumberland.
#84
Kincaid
#85
Yatesville and Cave Run
#86
Grayson Lake.
#87
Kentucky lake is the best lake to catch more and bigger fish, it's definitely worth the drive, and it makes you want to go back sure you can catch fish in eastern Ky. but not the sheer numbers and the quality.
#88
Cumberland. No questions asked, striper jumping like crazy right now
#89
I have fished almost every lake in Ky and I would rate them like this. "Have not fished Cumberland."
1. Ky/Barkley
2. Barren River Lake
3. Rough River Lake
4. Cave Run Lake (Home Lake)
5. Green River Lake
6. Yatesville Lake

All others I have only fished 1 time, but that is how I see it.

I have fished most of the lakes in Kentucky and I really liked Barkley, Yatesville and Paintsville lakes for the amount of strikes, but I have caught larger fish in Laurel and Cave Run lakes.

In Tennesse, I have fished Cherokee, Douglas and Norris. I have caught more fish on Douglas, but larger fish from Cherokee. I didn't do too well on Norris.

My favorite lakes that I have fished are Gunnerville in Alabama and Lake Murray in South Carolina.
