Fair enough Jack, but would it be safe to say that Boyle will loose 4 maybe 5 games this year as well? Highlands, John Hardin, Lex Cath and lets throw in there Collins and your arch rival Danville. You might beg to differ, but I would like to hear your agrument on why?

Not an argument just an opinion.one things for sure if Lex Cath wants to win another state title they better do it this year.if not it may be awhile since they lose 24 seniors to graduation this year.I'll tell you what lets not argue about it lets wait till seasons end and see who's right, and then one of us can eat crow.

LexCath did graduate a total of 12 seniors last year. Most were starters.
As noted Adam Bush graduated, as did TE Calvin Zimmerman.
Linemen graduated include big Oscar Melendez, center Kurt Whilhelmas (who will play at Center this year), Cooper Headly and Corey Mesmer.
On defense MLB Jordon Artrip (who scored on a fumble recovery last year) and Adam Wachs graduated.
So LexCath has had backfill some good talent.
Look for Dave Bovier (#12) to catch some passes from Bolin instead of Bush. But Bolin will also have Casey Nash (#26) and Anthoney Kearsy (#13) to throw to. Kearsey primarily played defense last year but will go both ways this year and has had some good catches in the 7 on 7s and the scrimmage last week. Nash and Bovier will provide speed at the wide outs.
Though defense returns a lot there is a lot of players in new positions. Josh Mesmer (#11) moves to MLB from OLB. Dereck Hayden (#15) move to SS from the corner. Alex Nash (#31) is still at DB. Nash lead the team with 100 tackles last year. Mesmer was 2nd on the team with 86. Trey Mattingly (#51) returns to anchor the d-line.
LexCath will need to score on its big plays and not give up the big plays on the other side. Both side of the ball depend on speed and execution. As noted, the execution can be sloppy in the first game.

Turf Field so the rain shouldn't bother the air attack of the Knights. Wind might but Bolin has some pretty good arm strength. I don't think it will factor in for either team.
Good luck BellCoBobcats09!

Thanks Hatz. Im glad this game is on turf due to Bell running alot. Don't have to worry about a muddy field.

As the saying goes - you cant there from here....
Well, almost.
See what Google maps or map quest recommends.
Here is the address:
2250 Clays Mill Road Lexington, KY 40503-1797
Coming up from South I-75 you have to get off the interestate and go over to New Circle Road (SR 4). They get off at the US68/Harrodsburg Road Exit and head toward Lexington and turn at the first light or the next street.

Yeah but that field turf sure is slippery when wet. Wait I just had a Bon Jovi moment. The song " Slippery when wet ".

With all the hype surrounding Lex Cath this year, if this is the year they're gonna knock off Highlands, they need to win this game handily. But with it being early I see it being closer.
