AAU has very little to do with season outlook until those kids get to be seniors. AAU you are competing against kids basically the same age and HC being a all Soph. team does well in AAU.

Harlan County competed in the varsity division. Age didn't have anything to do with it.

Lester and Harlan City has done this over the last several years but I have never heard of a Mike Jones coached team doing this?

The HARLAN COUNTY BLACK BEARS varsity team played against other high school varsity teams at the Kentucky KBA facility this summer. Age nor grade had no determining factor. They have also played at the Raceland tournament and Sayre Tourn. in the last two weeks and won 6 out of 7 games. We are starting 4 soph. and 1 junior and I think the boys have accomplished a lot........very proud of my BLACK BEARS!!!!!
