Exactly. 75 points is running up the score. I don't care how bad the other team is put in the jv and show some class.

The last few TD's were all running or from the defense. One was an interception return for a TD and another came on 1 play after a fumble recovery at their 26. If he wanted to run it up I think he would have kept throwing the ball.

I like Shelby Valley and everything but they have been known to run the score up every chance they get. Ever hear the term what goes around comes around? I've never known Salmons of running the score up on anyone so maybe he was trying to prove a point to them.

There is no reason a team to put up 75 that's just uncalled for and ya know what they say every dog has its day. I haven't said much about LC on here this season but I took up for them earlier in the year but I have saw some post of some fans saying that they should be in some rankings. Don't take this the wrong way bc im don't trying to cause trouble here but Until they play some teams that will give them some quality teams and im not taking anything away from the teams they have played, no one will know how good they truly are.

He had plenty of opportunity last year and this year against Paintsville. Salmons usually has the starters out mid way through the 3rd quarter. Maybe he is getting them in game shape for Sheldon Clark.

The reason Lawrence County fans think they should be ranked in the top 10 is because of last season and what they returned. Yeah I agree they haven't been playing some of the best teams in the area but that topic has been beat to death on here. They're in the 2nd year of their current contract with these schools. They have beat the teams they have played so far and that's all they can do. They beat Knox Central last year 19-0 in the playoffs. Knox just took Johnson Central to the wire. Lawrence returned a lot of very good players from that team. I guess we will see when LC plays your Cardinals. Should be a good game.

LC has a very strong and talented team, SV actually played them to the best of their ability and looked much improved from the week before. I did not see the game.... However you can't ask your team to lay down because you are up by a bunch. You can't tell them to not block,tackle or do the things they have been taught since the season practices began. What a coach can do is make sure every player get's playing time. Otherwise when a team is up by a certain score, they only recieve half of the points they score and the down team gets the other half. Either that or have the refs. stop the game and pass out a white flag and go home. I know this is silly and I am not a L.C. or S.V. but total discression is with the stronger team and better coach. The running clock has already been added.

I don't think they got waxed by East Ridge, however, they did tonight. They got beat by East Ridge.

I will say that SV had a couple of defensive series where they looked like they were more confused than ever..had LC WR's running wide open down the middle of the field without a SV player within 20 yards.

Actually it was they only scored 7 points in the last quarter and that was after SV put the ball on the ground at their own 26 and LC ran, YES RAN 1 play and it to went for a TD. What can you do when your running the ball, have a running clock and already had 68 points in three qtrs?

It happens. No need to cry about it, its not like they had the starters in or anything. You cant make a kid just not score or anything. But like someone earlier said Valley has had this kind of beating coming to them for a few years now. After a few more times like this maybe SV will get the hint. If Norman is still there next season.

How can you tell your kids not to play hard. How can you not get your starters work with it only being there 2nd game and only played a half of football in the first game of the year and had two weeks between games... Its the other teams job to stop us not us to stop ourselves. We took these same beatings over the last 4 years. You have to play your kids in game situations to find out what you can and cant do. I hate it for the SV kids but at the same time I am happy for our kids.

Another thing I want to add is when we went 0-11 everyone was calling to get us on the schedule. And coach had to do what he had to to get the program turned around, and yes that ment to schedule teams we could compete with last year. We didnt know what kind of team we were going to have then or them.. So when you make out your schedule you have a two year contract home and home, unless it is a bowl game.. So I am so sick of hearing all this crap about the schedule. We are dropping down to 3a next year still not sure what district we will be in but I know we are trying to get the schedule ready for next year and are trying to get it worked out so that we can play P-Burg and Russell will it happen I hope so. Its all fine when we were everyones doormat over the last 5 years.

If you look at how 3a is currently expected to turn out and the location of the teams I've came up with two possible districts for LC to land in.

1st would be Lawrence, Magoffin, Morgan, West Carter and Sheldon Clark.
2nd would be Lawrence, Fleming, Lewis, Mason and a fifth coming from Sheldon Clark, Bourbon or Power counties.

In option one it looks like Lawrence and Sheldon Clark would be in a fight each year and possibly the same for the 2nd if SC went into that district. The 2nd option looks like it would be Lawrence and then someone each year for the title. That is if LC continues to return to their 90's history.

Bell is in 3a and so is East all ready seen the team reclassification just not the districts. 4a is stacked with the likes of Highlands, JC Ashland just to name a few.
