It's a basketball simulation game. You can go to this website:
http://www.courtrivals.com/index.php
and register to make your own player (Your height determines what skills you will be good at. If you'd like to know the differences between the heights, just ask and I'll be glad to help). Right now, bluegrassrivals.com has two teams made:
1) Bluegrass Rivals (full)
2) BGR Battlers
You can pm or e-mail leecoukfan to join BGR battlers, or if you want to play for Bluegrass Rivals, you can pm or e-mail lwc and he may be able to do something. Or you can:
1) Make your own team and try to recruit players.
2) Try to join another team.
I imagine both are difficult to do, but I'm sure you can find a way.
If you join, welcome to courtrivals.com!

Good post! If you want to join the Bluegrass Rivals team, BE A GUARD! We really need a good guard!

Does anyone need a 600+ guard? Of course, roll back will change that soon..

We would welcome anyone who wants to join our team... but our team roster is full. If you want to, you can e-mail lwc and talk to him about it. We might have a few players that have quit, so lwc might be able to do something...
But chances are if you wanted to join our team, we would have to kick someone off... and that's always a "gray area."

Thanks for formally welcoming them.

I was looking for what we needed to improve, and I couldn't find anything.
One thing that is so odd, is that it seems like every team we play has a team full of players that have the same ratings. For example, an entire team may have a rating of 429. It is so weird.

lwc Wrote:Someone please explain to me how we keep losing? Are the teams THAT good?
For the North American Spartans, the are very good. As a matter of fact, they're undefeated. I think we lost to them because mostly they had a 64.2% field goal percentage (considering only 2-pointers, not 3-pointers). The reason they had such a high percentage is because I think they have better dunking. The assists from the other team (9 more assists than us) definitely could've helped with this high shooting percentage also. They also had 4 more blocks, 6 more steals, and 5 less turnovers that definitely could've added up to greatly help the other team. If we played them again, I think we would lose but the score would be a lot closer than before. The summary for this game also noted that the leadership of our bench players needed to be increased.
For w-inds, I think we should've won that game, but they had 10 more blocks than us and 6 less turnovers than us. I don't think it really had to do anything with rebounding, which is usually our key to winning a game.
For san miguel dev team, they had 9 more blocks and 18 more made free throws. They also had one player scoring 28 points and another player (14 points coming from free throws and 5 out of 9 3-point shots) scoring 35 points.

That was my old team that challenged us! Hahaha
Still don't quite get how we've lost a couple recently. I need an opinion though. Should I focus on 3 pt. shooting or passing? I could go either way right now. Which would help the team more?

Actually, our team needs both. If you prefer one skill, me and lwc can work around you. The problem the team had at first (before you came) was that we only had me as a point guard (all the other guards were shooting guards). Now that the team has another option for a point guard (you), we can use you to help with getting assists. However, all of our shooting guards are more focused on regular shooting instead of 3-point shooting. Therefore, we also need your help with 3-point shooting. I know this is a problem, and my best suggestion is to have the "Shoot More" and "Pass More" coaching slider set on neutral for now. Are you fine with this suggestion? I'm aware it's best to have a coaching slider set all the way on one side, but the team really needs both your passing and 3-point shooting. It's definitely fine if you don't like this suggestion or if you prefer a specific skill. As I said earlier, me and lwc will work around you.
You did give me an idea that I can ask lwc. We can ask at least one of our shooting guards - or all of our shooting guards - to focus on 3-point shooting. This would definitely help us with our team's problem with 3-point shooting, and you could focus more on passing, ball handling, and maybe even leadership if you wanted to.

I will try to get Shawn Embs to move his sliders to take 3's. Let me get in touch with him.

For now I set it on neutral, and I'll just wait to see if Embs becomes a 3 pt shooter. I'll save my skill point I should have by the end of the day until we figure out which attribute it needs to go towards.

A great win against an amazing team. To my understanding, our keys to the game were that we had a better 2-point shooting percentage (57.9%) and 9 more steals. We also had 5 more free throws than the other team.
