im not saying that..// the huff kid is a good player and they should have an allright team if i aint mistakin they have a pretty good running back he is in the same grade as the huff kid. i dont kno his name but he played a little varsity time last year. the only thing they should be worring about it the offensive line.

FYI 28 have applied.
#43
^ any names??? who's the leading Candidate???
#44
I am not sure who the leading candidates are but I have applied, plus I did go ahead and put my name in for the PCC job. Since that area is like home to me. I thought I would give it a shot, but God has a plan for me and I just need to be patient and see where it leads me. After 3 combat tours, I am thankful to be alive, so everything else is all good.

1998 8-3 (Lost To Breathitt County (District Game) 20-15) (Made 1st RD. Class 2A State Playoffs.

2000 5-6 (Made 1st RD Class 3A State Playoffs)

2001 3-8 (Made 1st RD Class 3A State Playoffs)

Total Wins/Loses in these 3 years: 16-17.

if he coached Cawood before the 98 Season, you would have to him yourself, because KHSAA Website only goes to 98.

My health is much better. I want ever be a runner again but that's okay. Estill had some great young men and I hate that it happened but again God does things for a reason. I'm excited about a chance to get back on the field. I am in the process of finishing my military retirement/disability and it should be wrapped up soon. As I have said on here, that area is my beginnings. My Uncle Mike was State Police Commander there and most of my uncles lived there. My dad (Gurney) played at Hazard both football and baseball. Simply put, I believe in hard work, discipline, and building young men of character.
#52
I left at the beginning of 2001 to serve my country and Frank Smith took over for me. No regrets, I ended up leading 634 Kentucky soldiers in to Baghdad and bringing them all home alive by the grace of God in 2006-2007. The "Mountain Warrior" Battalion.

Good Post, I agree, Coach Luttrell I want to say thank you and everyone else that puts their lives on the line to play the sports we love and all the other freedom we have. I would love to see Knott Co get a guy like you and someone that can bring in a little more discipline to the Patriot football team.
