Austin Collinsworth rushed 6 yards for the go-ahead score with 1:08 left in the first half and Highlands is up halftime in its Class 5A regional final. While Johnson Central has been using its Veer offense to chew up yards and clock, Highlands has countered with multiple big plays.
Collinsworth has 127 yards on seven carries while QB Patrick Towles has 84 yards passing, including completions of 36 and 35 yards to WR John Drenen.

Eagle fans... I hate to say it but that's probably all she wrote. There is a very narrow window to upset great teams on the road and that fumble and subsequent score may have just shut that window. Unless JC can counter on this drive,and I hope they do, it will be more about keeping it respectable than winning.
